Agreed. Danny may have billions but this show doesn't. Game of Death inspired jumpsuits costs about $25 on Bay.

Have you guys watched season 2 all the way through? Is that fight the only time we get the mask???
All I needed to know. I’m not going to make this a priority at all, I’ll perhaps watch it later.Yes, as I told you all after Comic-Con
To me, the show she was in wasn't the issue. The issue was she wasn't Typhoid Mary. I buy the argument that she was "Walker" from the Typhoid mini by Ann Nocenti and John Van Fleet. The biggest issues I have with her appearing in a Daredevil season is Season 3 seems already packed and it's likely that we'd get one or two things: Either this Mary Walker who isn't much like Typhoid Mary or we'd get an accurate Typhoid Mary that comes off as too similar to Elektra. It was an improvement over Elektra but not a great Typhoid Mary. I almost wish she was in Daredevil here. Her role in Iron Fist served almost no purpose. A waste of a great character.
How they used Mary is the only thing I really disliked this season.
I've always like how the Netflix shows handle costumes because I preference the story unfolds naturally and be more focused on character rather than just inserting pro-wrestling-esque caricatures. But when and how they use costumes should be a natural part of the narrative. Daredevil has the perfect use being a classic masked vigilante story, Jessica Jones is a counter to the classic superhero idea, Luke Cage is the superhero down the block, and Punisher was about uncovering a conspiracy(as oppose to being the boogyman to the mob, which I think season 2 will cover). Even Iron Fist season one made sense why there was no costume.
But the lack of the costume in Season 2 did not make sense. Hell he barely wears the proto-costume, every time he talks to a criminal organization without the mask it annoyed the crap out of me. I was hoping the end of season would see him suit up, his final fight with Davos inspiring him to take up the classic mask. Granted they left things in a far more interesting place than that but it's irritating to see the perfect tee up for organically introducing the costume just left hanging.
I have hope that hints for season 3 is to explore the mythology of the Iron Fist would lead to the costume, but money at this point is there will be no costume for this show.
sigh... at least he was wearing green.
I don't think that's the case, if having the costume was a priority they would make it work. Daredevil looks awesome, particularly the mask in season 2, the "mask vigilante" is central to the concept of the series, not so much for Iron Fist. I think the lack of a mask boils down to two things, a reluctance to hide the actor's face and the direction they've chosen for the story.I bet a million bucks that the sole reason he's not wearing it is because the costume people behind the scenes just couldnt find a way to make it work without it looking silly. And thats frustrating because in this day and age I thought we were past the point of not being able to faithfully render a costume in live action without it looking credible. Batman's finally got his black and grey suit, Spiderman's got eyes that can emote, even the Xmen are finally getting blue and yellow suits in the upcoming movie. You mean to tell me they cant find a creative green/yellow ninja like outfit for Danny to sport that at least pays homage to the costume look?
Thats the one thing you gotta give the CW shows credit for. They dont BS with the costumes. [...]
And as a result those superheroes look absolutely ridiculous. You could never get away with that level of cheese in the Marvel Netflix shows, the scene we got from K'un-Lun was bad enough.
