I was fine with Fox until Apocalypse was released. I am also not happy with their future plans.

Thing is we don't have a lot of X-Men fans there at Fox HQ and if we do, they only care about a handful of characters. This is more like a money making business to them, which is understandable but I just want A better representation of the X-Men in these blockbuster movies.

Even though I enjoyed Apocalypse and don't need X-Men at Marvel, still salivate at the thought of what Marvel could do with with the X-Men. :hmr:

I seriously don't.

also i find it hard anyone thinks olivia munn could force Bryan singer to have
comic accurate outfit In APocalypse.Singer is gone from X_Men films now.

They only hired her because they Google searched Psylocke fancast and pictures of her came up.

These people aren't X-Men fans

^ At least a lot of us here were very (and I mean very) hyped to see some of Munn's stunt rehearsals leading up to the film.

but yeah, as long as they don't give us the same team and the same story where Xavier gets kidnapped/disabled before the final scenes ; )

The best thing for the franchise (McAvoy is not a box office draw he has lots of flops outside X-Men) is to focus Xavier on his wife (Make Them Headmaster & Headmistress and focus on the new mutants) and assist through support from The War Room.

But to get McAvoy to re-sign he'll want a juicy part so it'll be more "You must save the Professor!" Trope.

I like McAvoy so I'll support but I wish he'd be OK staying in Westchester but you can't ask him to keep shaving and not be central to the plot unfortunately

There's also caps they could use for McAvoy's shaved head and central does not mean damsel in distress/obliterated. For example, those mental scenes in the movie were close to epic (Apocalypse hijacking cerebro, Xavier fighting him in his head later on). The Astral Plane could be a place to make him shine too.

No more JLaw though. Don't get me wrong, I love her, but she should do other stuff now, like some comedy bc she's hilarious

The outfit was gonna be all black but Olivia asked Bryan to make it blue.

Ah, the old "Let's fix a dying franchise by merging it with a dead one!" play.

fox isn't going to make anymore ff films.rights will revert In 2022.and then disney will decide what to do with FF.

Marvel and FOX seem to be getting on to some degree so marvel could allow them too.

The option to put them in an X-Men movie wouldn't hurt.

It'd be interesting to see the two sides interact, no doubt, but I don't know Fox would go about doing that.

The best and probably safest route would probably be to establish them around the time of Deadpool's timeline, then you get around having them in the past with the younger X-Men.

But at the same time, given what happened with the 2015 film, I don't see Fox touching the Fantastic Four unless they had a surefire way to make the franchise work and regain the audience's trust.

If FOX put F4 in X-Men they should look at it has a cool addition to the universe and not a seed plant for another F4 movie.

Just put them there and see how it goes, you don't need to put alot of pressure on their part in the universe but just having them there wouldn't hurt.

Not that i think this will happen but thats what i think the best way around it is.

The key section of the HR article is the following:

There may, of course, be practical reasons why this cannot be the case — perhaps restrictions on the usage of particular characters under specific licenses, or a clause simply demanding that the FF and X-Men characters are never to be mixed

There is zero evidence that FOX can merge these two separate Marvel licensing agreements without the Mouse's approval. If they could it would have been done already.

Fantastic Four need to go home. It's better for everyone.

As for Fantastic Four? Two sources have told me that Fox has something in development. Ignore unverified rumors hitting every other month.

If this is true it doesn't sound like FOX is done with F4 yet

That is Intresting.yeah i saw that too on twitter since i follow him now.I did think if 2015 film bombed fox might reboot again but i thought since apart from Kinberg & Millar nothing has been said they would just sit on it till rights reverted.fox trading ego for tweaking TNW made me think this for sure.

he thinks they will soft reboot but keep cast.He says he thinks fox won't give up since they see value In FF.this news also should tell people just to give up on deal with disney like sony for X-men.if fox isn't quiting on FF they defently won't with X-men.

If they want to make FF work, they need to get someone who knows the source material. If Marvel Studios can make A-listers out of the Guardians, Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange, not to mention that the MCU is a well-oiled machine, then the only thing holding back Marvel's First Family is the incompetency at Fox. And I'm not even a Fantastic Four fan, but I can see a fan's frustration when they see something amazing like The Incredibles and are left wondering how the Fantastic Four have yet to get proper on-screen treatment.

Just stick them in the world around the time Deadpool takes place.
