I think there are a lot of younger people here who are just going through the trials of life. I don't mind the threads when guys are looking for suggestions because there have been times in my life where I really wished someone could have provided me with some insight into girls, relationships, jobs, etc. It's tough out there and not everyone has the same experiences and strengths to draw from, so what's the big deal if they're seeking an opinion or some wisdom?

Everyone here has talked to their friends about these types of issues, so what's the big deal when they seek a bigger audience? I say it's like TV or radio, if you don't like you don't have to watch or listen or in this case read it.

I will say this though, it is too bad that too many guys buy in to the "sensitive, enlightened, new age male" crap. Women like strength, confidence, and assertiveness. They respect a guy who respects himself and commands others respect. That doesn't mean being a jerk, it means having some drive, making the first move, having some confidence, listening to them, and putting some value on yourself, your life, your time. Don't be jerk, don't be a kiss ass, don't put them on a pedastal, and don't try to control them and you'll do fine.
