I just wanted to see the best writing possible for the punisher.
it would have made this movie better.

The truth I haven't seen the trailer in theaters only at comic book conventions which just goes to show how Lionsgate doesn't really care whether the movie lives or dies.

Yeah sure the die hard Punisher fan will be there front row seat but does the average moviegoer even know it's coming out?

Plus it's being released in December, you can say counter programming and all that ****, but it's always going to be a toss up releasing it that time of the year.

as much as i love nic cage, that movie had bomb written all over it.

warzone has more potential at the box office. people are gonna see this because it's a new punisher film just like with 04 but hopefully this time around the word-of-mouth that spreads afterward will be positive. it's got no real competition so it will most likely be #1 and while this film obviously isn't going to win any awards it might end up being one of those "you gotta see this" type of movies just because they've finally done the character justice on the action.

I agree plus the last punisher movie became poular after it came out on dvd so that will also get more people interested in seeing this one.Lgf might not do any advertisement for the movie till its almost coming out in theaters and then they will start doing nonstoped tv spots.

Not really, unless you got someone like Johnny Depp or Will Smith in your dark/bleak or violent movie, it might not do well.
