When I yawn or shut my eyes really hard, I hear this weird noise. Kinda like a fan blowing right next to me.

Nope. You're not normal.:)

I don't know. See a doctor.

Well, it only happens when I shut my eyes really hard or yawn hard. I just did a test. I put my hands on both my ears and press hard. I can hear the same noise and what sounds like my ear drums beating. :yay:cool.

Don't shut your eyes hard or yawn hard.:p

Whenever I;m trying to sleep I hear this strange booming voice.

He tells me the end of the world is coming, and that I should get prepared.

do you hear this beep noise? because that used to happen to me.

AH-HA! I just found out what the noise is!

While yawning, notice that rumbling sound right near the end of the yawn. You can control it consciously, and make a "boom" sound which only you can hear. Walk down the street while accompanying yourself on the Invisible Bass Drum. Launch thought-balls at irritating drivers and hear them explode. Burst out giggling while walking along at work, and nobody knows why!

I can make that sound when I close my eyes hard, yawn hard, when I am yawning it appears at the end, and when I press my hands against my ears.

are you by any chance sitting next to a fan?

No, read my above post man. I just found out what it was. It's the rumbling sound that you hear towards the end of a yawn.

I play in a heavy metal band. I'm the lead guitarist. I can't help but play with a VHT full stack. I used to hear a low beeping noise, but over the years, it got louder. It won't go away now.

I think you shot your ears man. You should either google it or go to a ear doctor..err doctor, and ask him if you are going death. I meant deaf. Not that you are dying...:O

I'm not dead yet. But I am going deaf. For serious.

Its air rushing around your ears, don't worry bout it

isn't it just being able to control the popping in your ears and the air flow through it etc....

kinda like when you pop your ears, in your head you get to hear yourself breathing like darth vader, but everyone else can't hear you...

like you've turned up the base on your internal hearing...

I can do that at will, without shutting my ears.

I've been here for almost 2 years now and honestly, I've never encounted a RN a doctor or even a f'ing chiropractor.

So I guess what I'm saying is why do people look for diagnosis's here? I had an ear infection for the first time a month ago. I didn't come here and said, wow my ear really hurts and I can't even lie down, what do you people think I should do?

It's blood rushing through your ears. I get it too.

but not when I shut my eyes.

I used to get that, except it was a high-pitched fast talking voice that made no discernable words.

My theory is sonambulist possesion.
