he's the gm, snyder the head coach, batfleck lead assistant/player. he'll get his credit.

This has happened before.

Really though, this is easily the biggest collaborative effort for a superhero film ever.

That photo looks so beautiful for a Batsuit.

how do you figure?
The mcu stuff seems pretty busy. This next Xmen film seems like it has alot of balls in the air in terms of talent working....

It's a shame that if this movie turns out to be greatness, Goyer will get next to no credit AGAIN with Terrio and Affleck getting all the props.

Nah. Goyer will get to have his name signed to ANOTHER acclaimed CBM, thus assuring many people that "Goyer did Batman Begins/SupermanBatman-he's good by himself."

I will say this, though, Goyer did do a CHUNK of Begins, and Begins is by far, the best in terms of characterization that exists in the Nolan trilogy. I wouldn't have minded if he was MORE involved in TDKR.

In terms of who is making it. The lead actor is a director/writer himself. The director is a writer himself. The writer is also a director himself. The executive producer is also a director and writer himself. I've never seen anything quite like that before. Have you?

People will no doubt be saying similar about MOST when it's all said and done.

I personally found goyers Begins script almost identical to the final film. Only without nolans tired direction.

I see what you mean now.
Though I'm sure it happens on the indy circuit often.

I thought the first half of BB was great. The second half suffered from an abrupt tonal shift that the film never recovered from. I think Goyer is capable of producing great stuff; I just don't think he can do it by himself.

I have tears of joy. I now have 100% faith in this movie. It went from like a 65% to a 100%.

Also Joaquin Phoenix for Lex?

I am in my happy place.

Yeah! Phoenix is an excellent option.

Ironically, I think it's partially because of Nolan's inadequacies as an action director that the second half doesn't work as well as it should. The journey for Bruce to become Batman is so interesting that the destination feels kind of lackluster, except for a few key moments.

That sounds like it will be true, but at this point he keeps getting the job, so hopefully he is at least satisfied.

As I've said before - Affleck's involvement is the only reason I'm holding out any hope for this movie. Talent has been following him wherever he goes lately, this one looks no different.

I loved Argo, and am on board for a new writer being brought in to prep Goyer's script before filming begins.

The biggest thing I have seen on different forums thanks to this and the Lex announcement/speculation is that people who have never said a single good thing about this movie have turned on a dime and are now hyped for it. All because of the announcement that a writer will do a look through of Goyer's script.

This is definitely encouraging news to my ears. I have a sliver more hope for this movie now.

Really though, this is easily the biggest collaborative effort for a superhero film ever.

Every superhero to date has had well over 1,000 people working on the film in some capacity. They're all collaborative efforts.

Only a sliver, Flick? You aren't riding this wave of joy like everyone else? C'mon...lol
There are just too many factors at work giving me trepidation about this that I've lost count at this point. But yes, I guess Goyer not being the sole writer anymore does qualify as "joyous news" for me. :oldrazz:
