Oh yeah a game that let you go to every region would be AWESOME. I would also love a create a character mode too. Maybe a game that big would be suited for Nintendo's first big Pokemon console RPG

Do you guys use themes for your nicknames? I've been thinking of giving all my fifth gen guys the names of various fantasy characters. I've always jumped around with the types of names I've given my guys, so I want to try my hand at a theme.

I gave it a shot in my last Emerald play through, naming my team after characters from the Elric saga. Now on Ruby I'm just giving them cool names, like my future Blaziken is nicknamed Kane (after a martial arts monk), my future Shiftry is nicknamed Blackguard etc.

As soon as my Geodude evolves into Graveler I find the game's Pokemon namer and give him the nicknamed "Geodude". Geodude is just a rocking name. I also like to imagen the face of the trainers I'm fight when I call out, "I choose you, Geodude!" and a level 50+ Golem pops out of the Pokeball.

In Gen V Geodude was almost impossible to get so I had to replace him in my team with Roggenrola who I also gave the nicknamed "Geodude" (It's not even the same evo family, that's gotta get some funny looks from trainers)

I never gave my Pokemon nicknames, except in the first few when they would look slightly different in the Pokemon Stadium games. But even then, I would just change is so that their names were not in all caps.

I never liked nicknames with Pokemon. I like them just the way they are.

I never liked not giving them nicknames. It's like naming the family dog "Dog".

They didn't have nicknames on the show, so I never nicknamed them in the games. That's how it should be, damn it.

That's one of the annoying parts of using the TGS, trading for one with some random nickname and then having to breed it out of them.

I think I named a Pikachu "Sparky" once. But yeah, it was weird.

I named my Squirtle, Shellshock. Other than that I haven't really nicknamed my Pokemon.

I use to name my Eevee evolutions off Greek Gods at one point... (Vaporeon = Poseidon, Jolteon = Zeus, Umbreon = Hades, Flareon =(Ares or Hephaestus cant remember), Espeon = Athena, Leafeon = Demeter, Glaceon = Khione)

That's a pretty cool idea.

I never really nicknamed Pokemon. I planned on picking Feraligatr in SouSilver and naming him KillerCroc but I went with Typhlosion instead.

I was going to give my team names in White. Samurott would be Shogun, Wargle would be Apache, can't remember the others though, never got around to doing it.

I think you accidentally put a different link. That's a link to the new Ultimate Spider-Man series. ;) :p

The box art looks really spiffy though. I like it.

So the Ice/Dragon Pokemon fuses with Zekrom and Reshiram to form a new Pokemon.

Have you all heard about the Nobunaga's Ambition pokemon game?

what is this? a new generation already?

Nah it's seems to be an updated version of Black & White kind of like how Crystal/Emerald/Platinum were for their generations.
