Apparently Red/Blue are coming to the virtual console or whatever they call it come the Fall.

I like the new Pokémon, there's a bunch from all generations that I love. I'd like a game where you can actually catch them all. (Also, a bunch of the 1st gen guys need major overhauls on their movepool and stats to be up to par with the newer guys, who keep getting better. No way should Venusaur be played chump to the likes of Sceptile and Serperior.)

i think majority of the biased against new pokemon is just generational. I see kids buying the cars still.. and loving the new ones. They will probably enjoy them more then the originals.

Honestly, I look back at the first generation and a lot of them are pretty stupid. I mean, how many of you legitimately considered using a Mr. Mime or Jynx on your team? All of the non-Bulbasaur line Grass pokemon are pretty dumb, too. And who would choose Hypno over Alakazam?

Good. I have been playing FireRed. And I miss the old gameplay mechanics. I don't need no Dark or Steel moves, held items, or hand-holding tips and key items. I actually miss the very old play of the GB games. NO sarcasm. I really want to revisit the old game. Plus, my favorite tunes in Red/Blue do not sound as good remixed in FR/LG.

I'd rather Silver and Gold come out on the 3DS VC first. Those cartridges used batteries because of the internal clock. Once those batteries died, you lost your save. I want my Lugia back

So apparently this is going to feature 300 catchable pokemon in game instead of the 155 or so we got in the first Black and White versions? That's cool, I hated the selections in the first B/W.

So one of my good friends is damned certain she can beat me in a pokemon battle. I told her I could defeat her using a team made entirely out of poison types. It's gonna be interesting to see us go head to head.

I actually have all of those on my team. I've got Weezing, Tentacruel, Gengar, Nidoking already at lv 50 (the level my friend and I agreed on for the battle). I'm going to get probably a Vileplum or Victreebel to cover my grass type. For the sixth I'll probably use my Crobat. Or I'll just get a Muk.

I was dying for a Pokemon I recognized. I had no idea who was worth a good god damn in Black version so by the time I got to the Elite Four I had a team that couldn't handle them. Even if we got a bunch from Ruby and would still at least know where I stood. I just did not like a single Pokemon from Black and White.

I liked that they were all new. You had to figure them all out for yourself, like you did in the first generation. Finding out what works and building your team from there is half of the appeal to me.

I have no idea where I would get a bulbasaur from. Venasaur would be my #1 choice for a grass/poison type, if I could get one.

Finding a Lucky Egg is becoming a MASSIVE pain in my ass. I really want one, I need one super duper bad, but Chansey is a very allusive sonofa*****. I know where to find em in SoulSilver, but dammit all none of them have a Lucky Egg. Anyone got any tips?
