I've just been mugged..

Yeah, kinda. My friend thought he was quite hard. So he decided to cheekily answer back someone in the middle of one of the roughest places in Scotland. The boy came all the way through the store and around to the side alley where we were and knocked seven shades of **** out of him. They took £15 off him. Serves him right for being so stupid. The last thing I told everybody I was with after we got off the bus was "Lads, remember and shut up alright"
Ha ha. This Posh lad called my friend a punk. He laughed for about five minutes then proceeded to kick the posh lad in.

He did the right thing. I hope he wore those bruises like a badge of honour and didn't regret it.

This is the thing about youths that think they are tough guys. They are cowards. You talk back to them (I have many times) they usually back down. They try to hurt you, you try to hurt them back. If you see someone that's going to get mugged, you ****ing interfere. I'm sick of people that just sit back and watch other people get hurt.

If more people didn't sit idly by and interfered, crimes like muggings and beatings would drop so much!

... That still doesn't tell me what the hell a minstrel is.

I keep imagining blood and then a Playtex song plays... and I feel the need to never buy movie theatre snacks again... :down

I'm really sorry about your mugging Electrix. I hope your eye gets better. *gives you big bear hug* :)

That sucks man. I kind of had a similar occurance a few years ago with some jackasses trying to mug my friends and I. The OTL (local lame gang name) tried to mug me back in 2004, around Halloween. My friends and I were walking home from Walgreens and we noticed some guys following us. We knew what would happen but we just kept walking. There were about 12 of them and there were 4 of us. A few of them were on bikes and we noticed most of them were wearing bandanas covering their faces.

They came up to us asking if we had any weed... we didn't and we told them that. They then proceeded to ask what was in the bag from Walgreens and I offered them some Junior Mints, by saying "Junior Mint?" They didn't seem to go for the Junior Mints comment... one grabbed the Junior Mints out of my hand and threw them to the ground in anger.

I had about $300 on me at the time... right in my pocket. I was quite nervous about possibly losing that kind of money. They proceeded to follow us and eventually they went after us when my friend offered them a sip of his orange soda. A few seemed to have knives on them but the funniest thing is when one of them picked up a rake from a yard and started to swing it at my friend. At that point we all seemed to get seperated. I got cornered up against a house by about four of the guys. They asked me to empty my pockets out and whatnot. I just told them I didn't have any money and how I was basically poor (which I am, but for some reason I wasn't on that night). I pretended to empty my pockets by just kind of shuffling my hands inside of them and then took them out showing nothing. They then ran off when my friends all took off running... I guess the guys wanted to run after them instead. At that point I simply ran to my house a few blocks away and called my friend up... nobody got hurt and the OTL got nothing... nothing but some useless Walgreens food products which they destroyed and some change.

The best thing of all is that my high school basically got this local gang out of my city and back to Florida where they came from. The OTL had been going after and jumping tons of people in my school and many were gettign quite pissed. They were all living in a boarding house type of thing... so a friend of mine drove to their house one night and shot the windows in with a bb gun or something. The lady who ran the house got worried and kicked the guys out of the house and they all went back to Florida. It was great.

The people in this place are absolute psychos. We were 13 at the time and the guy was 19-ish. :(

He had a broken nose and talked about it for six months.

I'm glad I keep out of everything and that I'm nearly scared of everything

Yeah, but he got away with some lost change and a punch, they probably would have stomped him half to death if he got all tough guy. It's not the movies, you can't beat up a group of people.

Unless you're Chuck Norris.

Trust me, if it was me, I would have beat most of them. I know this is not a movie, but I have skill.

I'm very sorry to hear that. That must've sucked for you. So, were they armed? I would've fought back if they weren't, but that's just me.

You should talk to someone. Even though they stole only a few changes.

I'm not saying that I would have beat all of them. How many of them were there? But, I wouldn't stop fighting.

I thought English/Irish/Scottish people only said "lad" in the movies.

Its used more where I'm from in England. I could have used 'guys' or 'chavs' or 'males' but lad came to mind first.

Would you fight back? Just curious. 'Cause I'm not gonna go down without a fight.

Next time you're in trouble, just flash the signal:

That many? Well, I would've just done what they said. I can't take four. :o

But it's good to hear that you're alive and well. Bring a pocket knife with you next time or whatever.

I usually pack myself with a laser. I plan to blind them in the eyes and run away. LOL.

I know kung-fu.

Good for you, now take your Kung Fu down to the nearest Boxing Gym and ask a heavyweight your age for a fight.

17 years old. I have experienced fights before, and in all seriousness, I have won all my fights.
