But none of the 60s Bond songs were nominated for an Academy Award. The first was Live and Let Die in 1971, then Nobody Does it Better in 77, then For Your Eyes Only in 81.
Wasn't Skyfall nominated last time? That was a better song than this one, but it didn't win.
RIP Ken Adams. The production design of Bond films never managed to reach the heights he brought them to. Though QOS gave it a good try with the desert base.
His Fort Knox set in Goldfinger is one of my favorites. I hear the treasurer or who ever it is that manages Fort Knox sent him a letter and commended him on his creativity for it.
