What I am ACTUALLY saying is that if Ms. Roseanne had been TRULY contrite about her tweet and was supported by her cast and crew she may have been able to keep her job.

They fired her immediately upon hearing about the tweets.



Gunn has the support of his cast and crew, how is that working for him.

I wouldn't say immediately, because we heard from Ms. Sykes and Ms. Gilbert prior to Ms. Dungey lowered the boom.

And it is working out quite poorly for Mr. Gunn.

I have no doubt they'd give him his wish. I just have this image of Chris Pratt of all people doing it, and it made me legit laugh. What would that even look like?

I can only speak for myself but if someone I knew was fired from a company I worked for unjustly I’d have a real hard time sticking around also. I wouldn’t be able to work in that environment.

If I was Bautista, I’d want my friend to seek help because what he’s tweeting about isn’t normal instead of fighting the internet and my company to normalize this odd behavior.

Yeah. I mean, the thing is , is once you walk , it sends a message to other studio employers that you're a potential problem, and that you'll bite the hand that feeds you if they do something you don't like.

That then means that they'll be wary about signing you for the way you behaved with another studio. I don't think all of the cast members are willing to take that gamble, though a few of them like Bautista may.

There's a reason you don't hear Gunn badmouthing Disney over his firing. He knows that he's a lot more likely to get a gig at another studio by being silent and taking the hit, than it would be for railing against Disney and showing other studios that he's trouble.

His last run does not suggest a lucrative return. He has been asking for one, and the WWE seems reluctant. Probably because of how bad it went last time.

A push in wrestling is when a wrestler moves up the card. They get more screentime, storylines, high-profile matches, and wins. To kill a push is effectively the same as a demotion. Essentially Bautista has a history of targeting women backstage and if they didn't sleep with him he would go to management (since he was a big name star) and get them demoted.

Batista us sticking by his friend so that is what it is. But hell be screwed if he walks out the Disney contract. Who will want to hire him when he is shown not to "play the game?"

You hear a lot about talent that is blacklisted because they don't play the game

And I get that Gunn isn't a bad guy. I'm not saying he is. But Batista and everyone saying "He's a good guy" like good guys don't make mistakes. And that's what Gunn did
