I've got to say ever since Christopher reeve, DC has always beaten marvel in the casting department
I know, right there with you
I can't wait to see him in action in the JL trailer.
Going off topic here, I absolutely love all the casting decisions in the DCEU but RDJ as Tony Stark/Iron Man is still the best casting I've seen in recent CBMs. He owns the role. He's just too good IMO. James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto are also great castings IMO. They were excellent successors to Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
My friend and I had that same conversation the other day I agree though. And to think that Favreau had to convince the studio to take a chance on RDJ.
I personally love Evans as Cap. But DC has been owning their casting choices. Momoa is going to bring a bad ass take to Aquaman.
Jackman and Wolverine.
It looks like the movie is shaping up to make Aquaman's personality, appearance & character part Conan and Tarzan.
interesting interview with jason momoa on RT
With how upset people get when a character is not comic accurate, I was surprised they used a tall Wolverine instead of the little tank he's supposed to be.
I applaud the revision of Aquaman And it removes the stigma of his character being the useless guy who talks to the fish. It matches his persona accurately. It makes him his most primal.
I'm not sure it could be exactly called revision, as it's very close to Peter David's Aquaman from the '90s, but I agree this was a right approach.
These two guys look like Hobbits in formal attire next to him.
Hey... size isn't everything...
...said no one.
Momoa in real life reminds me of Ultimate Avengers Thor.
