Well it is relevant. The fact a male celebrity makes a joke like that adds to the sick culture we live in. To make this joke was low but it also showed he is truly stupid. Hundreds of fans. Cameras. And there he goes. Good for him for apologizing and all but the second i saw that video...nope.

In Jason's case, yes, it was stupid, but it should be water under the bridge at this point. We're all human, we all said or did something stupid at one point in our lives, so no need to be harsh on the guy for something he already dealt with. I also don't see how it's supposed to 'put' him in the same league as Affleck or even Weinstein when there are more severe cases going on, but okay.

Anyway, we already had these arguments ad nauseam almost a week ago, so I would rather not go into them again.
