So, does everyone remember this from early 2015? First official pic of Momoa as Aquaman, along with the 'Unite the Seven' tagline .............

...... Only, going from what we've seen so far, there aren't seven people in this JL - there's six.

So from those who have seen it, is there another post-credits scene pertaining to a seventh member (Green Lantern) or was it just a case of Snyder revising his story after the pic above had been released and trimming it to six?

Just read all: X & X

There were screenings yesterday on some military bases https://www.aafes.com/exchange-stores/Movie-Guide/showtimes-Hickam-AFB.htm

It's not some random leak, cause they are not leaks.

Whats?? this is stupid. You're doing the most.

I am sure Vieweranon saw A cut -but his was not totally finished and it was 7 weeks ago now-times does fly. To assume 'no changes' from his cut would be foolish. Could the 'final cut' be different-of course it will be somewhat. I believe both are telling the truth.

Yeah, my guess is originally they had a plan to reveal a 7th member whether it be Green Lantern or someone else at the end possibly or something of that nature. The Unite the Seven tagline changed to "Unite the League" and then "All In" out of nowhere.

It still applies, for the long run lol. And I'm glad they're not revealing the 7th member now. I'd prefer them to focus more on the six in this film, and really take the time to flesh out why a seventh member is essential to completing the team. I mean... in the eyes of the GA, Superman is probably enough to play the roles of the seven, all by himself. And now we have him + this OP version of Batman + a demi-goddess + a bulletproof half Atlantean + a walking motherbox + the king of the speedforce. There really has to be a very good reason behind the need to add a seventh member.

Green Lantern could essentially place the 'space cop' role. That would be their angle to take a second film into the cosmos, maybe straight to Darkseid or at least some other alien encounter. AFAIK, none of the current JL lineup (asides from Superman) have the means to go into space or have any reason to. I guess Cyborg could potentially open Boom Tubes but that's still more a point-to-point transport rather than actually traversing the stars.

After Doomsday, Ares and now Steppenwolf, I think a JL sequel would have to do something different other than having them face off against yet another superpowered villain threatening to destroy/rule/enslave Earth. Going into space would be one good way to introduce some variety.

DC needs to beat Marvel to the punch by having JL face off against the Legion Of Doom or the Crime Syndicate before doing a cosmic big baddie.

It isn’t just Superman going after Batman, because Cyborg’s suit auto-attacks Superman in the scene. I can’t remember if Superman headbutts Diana, but I do remember the screening happening pretty quick after Whedon’s ex wrote that scathing op-ed and thinking the amount of punishment Wonder Woman takes isn’t going to do him any favors in the court of public opinion.

Hey dude,

Thanks for everything. Did you see any Lanterns?

Yes, he did say that he saw one in the Steppenwolf flashback.

But i wonder, what did you feel about his cameo? The use of his power? Did it was more impressive than say the Green Lantern movie?

Oh really?! Wow.. any idea which Lantern?

Unite the Seven is the plot of Aquaman according to Jason. It means, unite the seven kingdoms. Not related to Justice League members.

For me, a great ending would be to show each member in his/her own environment stopping local threats, with a voiceover stating how they united once to save the world, and will again if ever called upon or needed.

End it with clark in the DP hearing an alarm going off in the distance, he rushes to find an empty room, bam, shirtrip, fade to black..

This is not some competition mate. I really do not think anyone in the audience will give a damn about who beat whom "to the punch". The better movie will eventually do better. That's all there is to it.

And JL's just happened to conveniently be "Unite the Six" and "Unite the League"? :p

I get Momoa is obligated to defend the goof up, but lets not pretend its anything else. :) Although I actually think JL movie will be better with there being no Lanterns coz that is so much more exposition and world building that you can really only do justice in a stand alone movie.
