Comics Jean and the Phoenix Force

$7.00? I found a comic/record store and bought comics for 98 cents.

Really?! Which comics were they? aND SINCE THEY WERE 98 cents, I'm guessing you bought tons? Anyway, when I went to the comic store (I almost started to write "Storm" instead of store,lol) I saw an Ultimate comic that was about 30 something bucks.

They were just random uncanny issues and X-man, my all time favorite

hehe. I know im stupid... lol Im Jean's stupid...X-Man. haha lol.
anyway... I've checked other sections. the thing is, I want the Phoenix story to be as simple and realistic and understanding as possible... its just where do I begin? I already stated that Jean will rise from her grave outside the mansion just like in Endsong and but instead of meeting up with Logan seconds later, she wakes up in the infirmary again (with Scott...but again...not sure where to begin with him actually being alive). She escapes by creating a hole in the roof as she rises and flames surround her and the ceiling collapses on the X-Men, injuring Scott and a few. From there, Jean meets up with Logan...has a nice emotional chat with him and in the morning, Logan tells to Jean, she shouldn't leave... or something...you know to go off on her own idealistic crusade. So she has second thoughts, thanks to Logan and with his help, she sneaks back inside the mansion to a unconcious Scott in the infirmary where Hank is looking after him. She puts on her old Dr. coat (I honestly miss her wearing it in X2. ) and hank hands her the data pad and shares a few kind words with her before taking off. With Jean by herself with Scott...she does what most doctors do hehe... uh she starts mending his little wounds and yeah... he wakes up and I'll stop there. lol

It would be great having a movie about Jean controlling the Phoenix power like in the comics, but it wouldn't be too realistic to have her resurrecting again (even if she didn't really died at the end of X2)

Backk to the picture I posted the other during a rather embarrasing moment (note to self: Stop logging while under the influence...) That was actually the first comic book I ever saw. I used to be a big fan of the X-Men 90's cartoon, and when I saw that comic I was really shocked. My words were something like "WTF!! WHO IS THAT PURPLE HAIRED GIRL??? WHAT ARE COLOSSUS AND ARCHANGEL DOING WITH THE X-MEN??? AND... WHAT'S THAT ICE GUY'S NAME?? ICEMAN???" Imagine my surprise when I found out the cartoon was based on the comic book and that the ice dude's name was indeed Iceman...

hey guys. i like to do something called paper sculpting...which is basically exactly what it sounds like...take cold press paper (really thick stuff) and cut it and score it to get it to do what you want. this stuff ends up very 3d and it is moldable, so you can actually round stuff off.

anyways, i want to do one of the phoenix, but i can't find a good picture to use for inspiration, so if anyone could find one, that'd be great! thanks for the help.

i'll throw in a sample of what it looks like...this is a very simple eagle i did...its my schools mascot, but the phoenix i want to do is much more detailed...let me know! post the pics you find if you can
