What do you guys think about this? I think Wright is the better choice.

Way better. Felt the same way about Nolan's trilogy and some of his original picks (Hopkins/Alfred and Damon/Dent). Sometimes the "backup" and lesser name has more to offer.

Wright's been my personal favorite pick for Gordon for months now, though I've tried to simmer my expectations for a white actor to play the part again. Needless to say, this news has me PUMPED.

Between him and Pattinson as Bruce, Reeves is knocking homeruns with the casting so far.

I included an image of both Pattinson and Wright to show the similarities in appearance. (Not saying this was deliberate, just pointing it out)

Overall, I like this choice for Gordon. I think he'll do a great job.

Looks like Morgan Freeman's detective character from Sev7en was a major influence on that casting/take. I wonder if Reeves had also had that character in mind when casting Wright as Gordon for this?

Dang, the Batsuit in that art even kinda looks like the rumored direction Reeves was going in for the new costume!
