They are really keeping it a secret when it the comes to the looks of the future X-Men.

Because they are filming outside with those characters at the moment.

I imagine most of the future scenes will be in a big studio with green screen/sets.

jen is there for the acting, rebecca was there for quiet assassin

So far just the reveal picture Singer posted. Even then I wasn't overly impressed, but mainly because the quick-shopped eyes were distracting. I have faith in Singer's work with the more unique-looking characters, so I'm sure it'll wind up being fantastic on screen. It'll be hard to beat her look in X2, though. I have no problems with Lawrence's body. I really like it, actually. She is healthy looking and sexy.

Oh, I was shocked how well the "suit" works. Pretty neat.

I prefer the makeup over the body suit, sadly it makes me understand how different this Mystique is going to be from original Mystique. Now I have all my hopes in the script, I'm crossing my fingers for a silent, scary, sassy and lethal Mystique.

Don't break your fingers

Jennifer Lawrence isn't going to be a silent assassin, because she is Jennifer Lawrence and its her acting will be important, you don't go from FC (or even hunger games) where you have a character with depth to DOFP where you are silent

she will probably be half FC and half OT mystique, depth but vengeful

She's going to have a key emotional role in the "shifting of the tides". Because of where she ends up in the future (evil and willing to kill her "brother" in X1,) she'll have a breakthrough in the past. We'll probably start seeing her be her sneaky self, doing things that are morally questionable, but by the end, when she sees how drastically different she is in the future/present, she'll encounter a change that will harken back to her First Class self.

She will still have alot more depth to her in this then she did in OT because its still a continuation of FC

I think realistically anyone who thinks she will be just like OT mystique will be disappointed, its still Jennifer Lawrence and FC was still a well liked film so no reason to jump ahead so quickly

I'm expecting half FC and half OT, or maybe slightly more FC

The film focuses on people's paths and destinies in life. It's going to be how the central characters of the past (Xavier, Magneto and Mystique) have changed from their start in FC to their ends established in the original trilogy or the "future" presented in DoFP. Close friends becoming enemies, like Xavier and Mystique, is the type of scenario which will encourage the past characters, on an emotional level, to change the future. Raven will be angry and lethal, but she'll still have a note of empathy and vulnerability. Since FC, she's become a multi-faceted character, and that won't change now. Especially since she's being played by one of the biggest actresses of our generation. It's obvious something will snap Raven back to her senses so she doesn't become the nasty terrorist willing to sacrifice her brother.

Keep in mind those pictures were taken by paparazzi and fans in the area posting them to Twitter. I would imagine they would rather not have any pictures (other than the ones Singer has been tweeting) ending up online. But they don't really have much control over these.

wow. Now I can see the suit. It blends quite well around the neck area. Cool.

Even though Rebecca had to endure being contractually obligated for 2 films at the time, she came back for the 3rd. Looking back she probably had a blast.

Just came across those new pics of Lawrence on set in full makeup and I have to say I'm sooo glad they got rid of those spikey scales on her. In First Class when the camera is panning around her when she finally accepts who she is, her hands/knuckles made her look like she was some kind of lizard alien.

I know, I just never liked it.

I still think that decision was done just to show off Rebecca Romijn's body. Just cover up her parts with something that looks like lizard skin instead of giving her some clothes. I still think the white gown from the comics would have worked just fine.
