I honestly find it hard to imagine a direct translation of the 616 costume without picturing it looking like something out of the 90's made-for-tv Justice League pilot. Ultimate inspired costume is the way to go. I just hope they retain 616 Clint's personality, Ultimate is a little too angsty for me. Also, I hope Renner learns to get Hawk's real name right. lol.

I agree with the translation problem but i loathe the lazy and now cliche look we see in every movie it seems. Even the Ultimate version seems boring to me. If they're going to have a red n gold Iron Man, a green Hulk, and hopefully a red white n blue Cap, I dont see why Marvel would tone down Hawkeye so much to make him look like he does in Ultimates.

Agreed. The all black leather look actually worked in the X-Men movies, I think. But that was more to tie the team together. Avengers are more a collection of individual powers combined into a team. Purple and black works for me as long as it doesn't look like Smallville or Hancock.

i am sure they will probably find some mixture of his 616 suit and ultimates suits he has had. Then go on from there. Also that vest manip back on page 9 was pretty cool. As for bows i dont see why he couldnt have some cool hightech type of bow. Plus if its something collapses he could put it in a side pocket. So then its an easy grab to get and it foils out. I know some of you dont like smallville or smallville's green arrow but how his bow work there wouldnt be that bad of an idea:

I'm warming up to the goggles idea quite a bit, myself. It's not like Hawkeye needs a mask. He has exactly 0 non-superhero friends or family to endanger.

Those nightvision goggle type things that Asad and Nyssa wear in Blade 2 would be cool if they wanted a goggle look

thanks for your opinion guys, yea i just couldnt really think of which boot selection to pick from. There is many different types in the game to fiddle around with.

i think whatever the decision, they should do a scene similar to TIH where Banner refused to wear the purple pants. It can simply come up in conversation and he blows it off immediately. But i think it wold be a cool nod to his 616 costume as well as us fans
