Action-Adventure John Wick: Chapter 4

Action movies and adventure films.
Glorious in all the ways that imitators are not.

Yen and Sanada in the same movie, just..............perfection.

Hoping they can sneak Ana in at some point for a cameo or something too.

Between this, and Ana De Armas being brought in for The Ballerina, id this franchise has cemented it's legacy as one of the best action series ever.

It looks okay but part 3 kinda ruined the series for me. I’ll probably watch this eventually because a John Wick movie is ALWAYS on TV at any given hour of the day but I’m not really feeling this franchise anymore. Also, can they give Keanu some worthwhile dialogue for once? I feel like half his lines are just, “Yeah.”

Keanu’s stoic acting has always bothered me and the world building they’ve done seems to have hit the ceiling as far what can be done in this universe. I want things to end on a high note rather than continue to be stretched too thin.

I just don’t like the constant need to expand the world with every sequel. The first movie made it seem like a shadow-y small group of assassins that just happen to also have their own hotel. But now apparently they’ve got their hands in everything.
I loved Chapter 3, but I agree with this. It’s gotten absurd.

That was my biggest issue with the sequel, particularly the ending of it. I just enjoyed the 3rd one so much that I didn't care

The plot of the first movie seems so quaint now

I can't imagine disliking the world-building in the sequels. I f***ing love it. :funny:

This is legitimately the only series that has so far only gotten better with each installment, imo. Mission: Impossible WOULD claim that title for me if it weren't for that pesky 2nd one (which I still enjoy), lol.

It seems to me these movies will never reach the levels of The Raid or Timo's films.

A cool Third Person shooter game, would be neat.
Something between Hitman and Max Payne, man would that be sweet.
Lets see, but im surprised since JW1 that no big company has thought about doing a big AAA game for the IP.
I think there is good potential for this and the name recognition would help it. Maybe Keanu would be up for getting involved too. :cwink:
