Deadpool 2 Josh Brolin is Cable

There's no reason to include Pryor.

Having Sophie Turner as Josh Brolin's mom would be huge

His mother is Famke Jannsen. The other one is just the younger version.

My hope is that he'll look somewhat larger and more imposing on film. If not, it is what it is. I mean.. the guy's not a professional bodybuilder. Likewise, what he was able to achieve given his age and other relevant factors is pretty damn impressive.

Yeah but a little Vfx of making his physique bigger wouldn't hurt.

His Thanos doesn't look skinny and short for someone portraying Thanos.

Lol...seriously? Thanos is all motion capture and voice over work. The Thanos audiences see on screen is not Brolin. There's no comparing that to a role he is actually physically playing.

What I'm trying to say is they could make bigger if they want to and not just rely on Josh's gym results.

Josh Brolin is in perfect shape for Cable. No need for VFX enhancements.

Cable looks great. The Deadpool movies are proving to be great in the costume and character design department. In certain aspects they are better than the main X-Men franchise.

Doesn't take any special effects, just good camera angles. Look at what they did to Tom Hardy as Bane. For the most part he looked huge.

Great picture ( a stunt but still great)

This. No VFX needed to make a 5'11 man seem taller than a 6'2 man. Ryan's gonna tower over a good bunch of everyone when he's standing side by side. He's basically the tallest guy in the franchise alongside Nic Hoult.

I'm disappointed. With Domino and Cable, it's clear they wanted something like MCU. but they made it even MORE "realistic".

Domino is just a girl with vitiligo on her face. Not similar to source.

And Cable, apart from the correct face/arm, is just a dude with a bunch of munition pouches. At least he has pouches.....

My theory, atm, is that both Cable & Domino were in the 70s for a good while before coming to the present. Domino was likely picked up from the past.

oooh, I like this theory. Here's hopin you're right. :)

That's exactly who Cable is though visually. And has anyone even seen Josh's pics on his social media? He looks like a beast right now. Let's look at them before we start making ridiculous statements about his physique.

People tend to forget comic physiques are not exactly realistic. Especially Liefield's .

And thank goodness for that. If people actually had Liefeld physiques we'd be a planet of Total Recall Mars mutants.

i don't know what you were expecting. Cable is my second favorite character and I think they nailed him quite good. He may be a bit on the smaller side but this still works and is a minor thing that can be ignored

I hope they make his ridiculously convoluted backstory part of the comedy shtick in this movie. I think it would be hilarious - like Deadpool constantly having him re-explain it or maybe the movie keeps cutting away from it every time there's an attempt to.
