I think a lot of people do. I know I do.

Hemsworth is growing on me for Thor. Hiddleston not so much as Loki

Really? That's a first. Tom Hiddleston is a highly-acclaimed, award-winning stage actor that looks the part, most people seem to have readily accepted him as Loki.

Not saying he's a bad actor, i just wanted Vincent Cassel lol

Im not doubting that the guy will do it, i just think it will be weird seeing him in it

i am just not sure who is playing who we now got

Robert DeNiro
Jude Law
Stellan Skarsgaard
Brian Blessed

in unconfirmed roles

i say do the following:

Jude Law - Fandral
Brian Blessed - Volstagg
Stellan Skarsgaard - Odin
Robert DeNiro - ??(No Idea)

I was looking for everyone... sort of what you see in those cast the Marvel Universe threads.

well those are the ones confirmed i did'nt want to post ones that may just be speculation or fanboy favoritism

but i think Stellan Skarsgård is gonna be Odin just look at him from King Arthur

DeNiro and Jude huh.

Sounds awesome if true. Thor is shaping up nicely.

Hiddelston is the perfect actor to portray Loki. Not only does the guy have the credentials to back up a good performance but he also resembles the character too.

What if Jude Law was Donald Blake? That'd be pretty interesting, huh?

I could accept Law as Blake. I would have liked Anthony Michael Hall in that role too.

DeNiro is interesting though. Odin wow that's hard to see. Hmm...

Bull ****. I can see Law but DeNiro would be a cameo at best. But better than nothing. I just don't see DeNiro though... especially as Odin.

What is it with you and hating on Thor? WTF? Why do you have so much negativity towards this production? Don't like the Thor character and mythos? It stinks of bias and your own personal feelings, not logic.

Getting big names in supporting roles is what you have been claiming, and rightly so, is essential.

Now they have appeared to have done so you are calling it ********? WTF? Sort it out man. Is it really that hard to believe they have got these guys cast? I don't think so, considering both of them have been in their fair share of absolute dog **** movies. Rocky and Bullwinkle springs to mind instantly.

Jude Law is a shoo in for Fandral.

De Niro? Ymir perhaps?

And Donald Blake isn't going to be in Thor, that's already been confirmed.

It would be a great coup for Marvel IF they could get those two. I'm not familar enough with the Thor mythology to give an opinion on what roles they could/should play but the way things look right now (in terms of casting) it seems they will only be in the film in a supporting capacity.

BTW the comments Matthias Schweighöfer made are from the November issue of the German edition of GQ Magazine and as it turns he did give an interview to said magazine. At least that's what this german twitterer "Florian (chaosbruder)" says though he doesn't have any scans from the article:

GQ durch: Schöne Interviews mit #Matthias #Schweighöfer und #Robbie #Williams. Ausserdem ist ein #Amazon #Kindle nun auf meiner Wunschliste!

In Tonie's defense, here it doesn't so much seem like him being down on Thor as it does him being skeptical about what on the surface seems like a totally out-there casting rumor. It's only when you consider both have worked with Branagh before that it becomes a little more plausible.

Holy crap, if this is true this is pretty awesome. Great supporting cast.

Chill out dude... I just don't buy the rumor. And if it is these guys then I don't expect them to be more than 15 minutes especially for DeNiro. And I just don't know about DeNiro for Odin. And R & B was animated... not exactly the same animal we are dealing with here.

Jude Law is Easily Fandral

And I could see Deniro as Hogun

If this rumor is true,Thor is gonna have one Amazing cast.... and all the uknowns will have great mentors on set.

I'm cool with it. Jude Law might be Baldur. De Niro is a left field choice but he is a great actor so I'll buy it.

The younger set nowadays is too used to seeing DeNiro take on abstract roles as opposed to the A-list work he's really known for. But he is inspired casting if he is in fact Odin.

I think Skarsgard will be Hogun. Get Brendan Gleeson or John Rhys-Meyers for Volstagg. Would make for a solid warrior three cast.
