Anyways, Gary Daniels - probably best known as the lead in the live action Fist of the North Star movie (which Gary wasnt too happy with as the editing butchered some of his absolutely awesome choreography) - that movie was supposed to make him but unfortunately, it didnt happen.

A real nice guy and a huge comic fan - I'd like to see him feature somewhere in all of this. Definately deserves a shot in a decent budgeted genre film.

Yeah I saw him in that movie, didnt look like much of an actor, but maybe he has improved since then, not sure.

Anyways, he has improved a great deal but it'd still be one helluva risk putting him as the lead. A helluva risk.

I was just thinking that maybe Jeremy Northam could also be an excellent Judge Dredd. Like Sean Bean, he's got that "dangerous" vibe and commanding presence that is required for the character.

Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked on that link. That was really cool.

Thats what I am starting to fear, they may be making it for late 2010, but doubt they would wanna go up against GL and Narnia 3. March/April time or October/November time would be best for this movie IMO.

Having decided to sit through a full viewing of the Stallone verison (which was just as bad as I imagined through the bits and snippets I had seen), I did a little more research on the core property. Done is a more serious, less Hollywood bull**** tone, a proper Judge Dredd flick could be damn good.

I'm glad to see a reboot is in works ...allegedly. No real news. Yikes.
