like I said, he just described the opening scene to me, basically its a news reporter reporting on a hostage situation at some bank, the mayor is being held hostage, and when the camera pulls back from the villain, you see spiderman swing into the bank....... they also show spiderman getting a key to the city, and there's some big celebration.....

WTF? Why does Raimi always want to have these scenes where the public embraces/aids Spidey? That's so wrong. Spidey is not Superman or the Fantastic Four. He's not a public hero. It won't make or break the movie, but it just annoys me.

O.k. here's where those "Green Goblin 2 wears a snow suit" rumors came from. It's the Shocker!

It makes sense. Earlier "spoiler" reports had persons describing the Green Goblin 2's costume as a white snow suit with googles. Well, well, what do we have here? The Shocker who just happens to be wearing almost the exact suit.

It fits. Raimi isn't stupid. There's no way in hell he'd make the Green Goblin 2 where a freaking snow suit and googles.

The early scoops were correct about the costume, they just got the wrong character!

to answer your question, I just googled Thomas Hayden church and Spiderman 3 yesterday, and Superherohype came up, so I went on the site, and found the message boards, and joined them yesterday, I was curiuos about who Thomas was playing and the plot for Spiderman 3. I admit I have very little knowledge of comics, I read a few when I was little....

Well, if this turns out to be true, then thanks. But we've gotten lots of hoaxes on these pages, so you'll have to forgive my skepticism.

And if this IS true, the reports of the black/purple snow suit could've been referring to Ultimate Shocker's costume. Don't believe anything without proof, though (or a loooooooooot of really good clues).
