I'm not saying he should be portrayed as a miniature Godzilla, but I do think he should look a bit like his namesake and not some huge guy as he was portrayed in The Joker GN.

Even though I understand the complaints about it, I liked Gotham Knight. On of the aspects of it that I liked was that it was placed more in the Nolan world than other cartoons.

Specifically, I was intrigued by the way Crock was portrayed. I would have thought that he could have no place in a Nolan inspired Batman story, but I thought the explaination for him was pretty good.

I was just commenting on Croc in general. Nolan will probably never use the character, even in his most realistic version.

That isn't Croc to me. That's as much Croc as some guy with pointy ears and hair on his face is Batman. That look for Croc couldn't be more bland if they tried.

I didn't say he should literally look like a Crocodile, but simply having slightly malformed skin doesn't automatically make him Croc. The original Killer Croc had fairly heavily scaly skin while maintaining a human stature and frame, and he looked quite different from the Croc of The Joker GN.

I agree with you Rodrigo, I think Derek Mears would be great for Croc. He's even said he'd like to play the character. Not saying Croc should be like Jason, but going by his Jason portrayal and the ferocity and swiftness he brought, I can definitely see him as Croc.

Kingpin in the Marvel comics is Caucasian and in Daredevil Movie he is African/American.

Colour doesnt matter to me. Its the actor who can play the top respect of what the character deserves.

I loved Arkham Asylum"s Killer Croc but it"s too much for a Nolan movie.

I love the portrayal of Killer Croc in Arkham Asylum, how in terms of inspiring sheer terror, he seems second only to The Joker amongst Gotham's crazies. Though the look would probably not work in a Nolan film, that murderous, vicious, vengeful persona that came across in the cut scenes and interview tapes could translate into a really compelling villain in other mediums. For starters, it's about time someone told a really good Croc story in the comics. And he might just work out in a film too, if handled right.

I agree with the people saying he needs to look like he does in Joker: an imposing black man with scaly skin and filed-down razor sharp teeth, with an implication he is a cannibal. But I'd propose sacricing size for screen presence, and casting a powerhouse actor like Forest Whitaker to really bring some scary intensity to the role.

As for what role Croc could play in a film, I imagine that in film number three, Batman's two main foils would be Catwoman and Riddler. But since - again, how I would like to see it - Catwoman is the love interest, and Riddler is a fed/PI on Batman's trail, Batman needs a threat who is an out-and-out criminal. Enter Croc as a new ganglord, a freak aiming to fill the void left by the dismantling of the gangs over the previous two movies.
