I saw it then too...and loved it. Did you know that the theatrical version was a little bit different than the tape version? A couple of bloodier takes on two scenes were added. I grew up watching all those old film noir detective stories and absolutely got what they were doing.

I think I remember hearing somethign about that. I remember that that was the summer where so many good movies came out in the same summer that movies were not leaving first run theaters like they normally do and a lot of first run movies where opening up in second run cinemas.

Dude....I remember when we only had 3 channels in total of anything to watch....and where I lived, that third channel didn't come in half the time.

IN hawaii, we only had the three networks, and KIKU TV (Good for Kikaida, Kikaida 01, Kamenraider, etc) and this chael that had philipino stuff and that was it.
