Let's Make The Marijuana Thread Again!

It was meant to be a somehow funny response to Mandragon's post.

It's been a long time since I had read studies about THC/cannabis but I recall it can cause memory issue if you start young.

Anyway, the green is still black listed here, you're lucky that things move fast in the US, our politicians talk about it but none will seriously try to change the law to allow it, we barely use it for medical purpose.

Hmm...all I know is that marijuana is addictive just like cigarettes and alcohol. This is bad news for people like me who want to stay healthy. I don't want to be assaulted by second hand marijuana smoke no more than I want to be exposed to second hand cigarette smoke. There's a reason I am almost 42 but look half my age and it's because I don't put foreign chemicals in my body. I would appreciate it if people who do want to trash their bodies don't come around me with that poison.

Get over yourself.

I'm 43 and look 30, used to smoke regular but now maybe 2-3 times monthly.

I haven't tried it myself, purely down to the fact that I haven't been around anyone I could trust to supply clean stuff from.

There was a move to pass it legally here last November by a politician (who is infamous in his support for MJ. 15 or 20 years ago, before becoming a politician, he sent pre-rolled joints to a bunch of politicians by post) but it was voted down 111 to 8 by Dáil Éireann, giving the same tired old reasoning why it should be illegal.

damn brah are you a button cause you're sure as hell pressed. I've smoked plenty the weed in my time, and I still do on the occasion. I prefer it over drinking, myself. I'm all for it's legalization and everything along those lines. I'm not a fan of the people that feel a need to constantly talk about it or anything like that.

Exactly what kind of discussion did you expect to find in a thread titled "marijuana"?

Not to say that it should be legal for minors (other than medically), but the harms around it are greatly exaggerated where they aren't completely made up.

I think legalization will gradually build more and more momentum worldwide. People will see it working in Colorado, Wash. DC, Wash. State, Oregon, Alaska & Uruguay and they'll pressure their governments into doing it. It's inevitable now, because of the internet the propaganda can't keep hold.

Headband, part sour diesel part og kush. Smoking it is basically like doing dabs lol

Weed was cool and then I turned 17.

At least you replaced it with something really awesome like sneering dismissively. Good call.

Lies and misinformation. It's 2014, well past time people stopped buying into early 20th century propaganda.

There many ways to ingest cannabis; vaporizers, concentrates, edibles and public consumption is still illegal in states where marijuana is legalized.

and cannabis is no where as addictive or unhealthy as cigarettes FYI.

Cigarettes kill hundreds of thousands every year, cannabis hasn't killed anyone.

Decoy you follow marijuana and it's progress, how close until it's legal in all states?

http://norml.org/ is a great site for info on cannabis reform. A few of us also try to keep this thread reasonably updated.

As usual, you have no idea what you're talking about.
