Let's Make The Marijuana Thread Again!

So much hate. :cmad:

The nerve of this ahole:

The House Republican who could end up undoing a District of Columbia voter referendum to legalize marijuana has a blunt message for residents of the capital city: If you don’t like it, move out.

“That’s the way the Constitution was written,” Rep. Andy Harris of Maryland said in an interview Wednesday. “If they don’t like that oversight, move outside of the federal district to one of the 50 states that is not covered by the jurisdiction of Congress as a whole.”

Feds to Allow Marijuana Sales on Native American Lands:
http://marijuana.com/news/2014/12/feds-to-allow-marijuana-sales-on-native-american-lands/

"The Department of Justice released a memo Thursday directing U.S. attorneys not to prosecute Native American tribes for growing and selling marijuana on their sovereign lands.

The guidance, authored by Monty Wilkinson, the executive director of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, extends even to reservations in states where marijuana has not yet been legalized.
"

:wow:

One step forward, two steps back. That's how this entire thing is starting to feel. Is it unreasonable to believe we may actually never see it come to all 50 states? Even if it's just for medical purposes

I think overall we're winning the battle.

By 2016, the entire west coast will have legalized cannabis plus Colorado, Alaska and possibly Massachusetts and Nevada. Almost half the country will have medical marijuana. And the majority of the public supports legalization which is huge.

Once legalized states start making billions and the statistical data starts pouring in proving the benefits of legalization the momentum will only grow.

The prohibitionist just dove into a tar pit blocking legalization in DC. Next time they talk about small government they're going to get laughed off the stage.

Congress Halted the War on Medical Marijuana Last Night

https://news.vice.com/article/congr...rijuana-last-night?utm_source=vicenewstwitter

the bill includes an amendment that will effectively block the Department of Justice from arresting or prosecuting anyone who sells or uses medical marijuana in the 32 states that currently have some type of medical pot law on the books.

The so-called "cromnibus" bill — which still requires President Barack Obama's signature before it officially becomes the law of the land — will likely affect several pending federal criminal cases, and almost certainly make DEA raids of law-abiding dispensaries a thing of the past. The legislation also stands to derail civil asset forfeiture cases in California, where federal prosecutors have used the tactic in attempt to shutter dispensaries in the Bay Area and Orange County.

The new rules also contain protections for industrial hemp, the production of which has been legalized in 18 states and is being considered by more than a dozen others. Obama approved a law in February that sanctioned state-level industrial hemp production, but just three months later the DEA nevertheless seized a batch of hemp seeds in Kentucky.

Washington Hits First $1M Day for Legal, Recreational Cannabis Sales

http://mjnewsnetwork.com/business/m...1m-day-for-legal-recreational-cannabis-sales/

WASHINGTON: On Wednesday, November 26th the state of Washington achieved a milestone the industry has been anticipating for months; the first time single-day recreational cannabis transactions (producer, processor and retail sales) broke the one million dollar barrier. Given this milestone was achieved with 75 retail stores in operation, we can anticipate that this will be a regular occurrence once the majority of the state’s allocated 334 stores are licensed and in operations.

Texas - State Rep. Joe Moody is introducing a bill to reduce the penalties for marijuana possession.

http://www.kvia.com/news/state-rep-...session-of-small-amount-of-marijuana/30244454

Moody says the current law just is not working but he wants to be clear that this is not a plan to legalize the drug.

"It's actually very rare in Texas," Moody said. "We tend to criminalize everything. What we've done here is created a civil sanction so it would still be technically illegal under the law but wouldn't be punishable under a criminal sanction or something reported on a criminal history report."

Tomorrow is graduation. And I did it.

Red states are begging the federal government to take away state rights.

Must be cannabis turning these right-wingers into total hypocrites again.

Nebraska and Oklahoma should be forced to prove how legal cannabis hurts their state.

and no, increased drug enforcement doesn't count since that's just a unnecessary response to irrational fears about weed to begin with.

Lol I was thinking the same thing, Republicans seem to love less Big Government, less Regulations and States Rights until it's an issue they disagree with

That dog may just be the funniest pic I have ever seen. :lmao:

So synthetic urine doesn't work? Anyone know? My freedom depends on it.

According to a cannabis forum that shall remain unnamed, synthetic urine works great.

Someone even claimed a family member has been using it successfully for 10 years.

It seems like "Quick Fix" was the popular brand.

I just left a forum that said it doesn't work because it's smelless. I've been tested about 10x never saw them smell it.

Most testers probably don't want to smell piss everyday.

It's nasty and weird.
