Anyone reading the last few pages alone knows none of this is true.
You are clearly biased. It's absolutely true.

Oh great, more insults.
Are you one of those trolls who throws insults and bait to get people banned and threads closed?
Do you even recognize the context of your "trivial pastime" comment?
That should explain the "second bit".
You are clearly biased.

You are clearly biased.
Not gonna lie, felt a bit woozy seeing the letters getting bigger![]()
Defending a concept, idea, or thing is different from becoming defensive personally. You'd swear weed is some intrinsic part of people like Messiah's existence. There's a difference.
My engagements in this thread have been 90% the same, with pioneers like Messiah twisting my words to make it seem like I'm hunting down his precious lifeblood![]()
LMFAO, are you stoned right now? Where did I say that? Are you honestly stupid enough to start fabricating arguments based solely on extrapolating what I've said?
Yeah, obviously I don't give **** about people who could be helped by marijuana, since I've explicitly stated it. And yeah, I love the fact that the USA spends billions on prosecuting a less harmful substance than alcohol and ruin people's lives because of it.
/Sarcasm. Since apparently following basic logic is difficult for you![]()
...Are you and IntelligenceDecoy on the same thing? Because obviously all my comments mean I don't want cancer patients to get a more accessible treatment for their pain, right?
Lol keep on going though guys, I'm sure at this rate and with representative like you guys weed will be 100% legal statewide in no time![]()
This, is called irony.
Very fitting in a topic about weed![]()
I may have used a few exclamation points but only after you were condescending.
I think prohibition is a horrible and unjust. Why should I walk on eggshells about it?
Nobody's twisting anything. You said what you said.
See, insult after insult then you claim I'm too defensive or passionate about weed.
How long are you going to play this game?
Yeah, keep trolling and attacking people personally...I'm sure that will help legalization efforts everywhere.
Hilarious.
This, is called irony.
When you people get done throwing your own feces at each other be sure and let the rest of us know so we can have our thread back. Good grief![]()
So are you cool with cannabis edibles and tinctures that have no smell?
Keep your thread...I'm gonna go make my own, with blackjack and logic!
Thank you for this. I remember being in your shoes too. I would stop for work reasons and while my fiance' was pregnant, but I really wanted to go back. I couldn't force it. That's just gone now. It'll come when it comes, dude.
to be fair, most recently this thread spiraled down a bad path when someone mentioned in a sarcastic way how everyone pro-bud touts it as harmless when someone was killed in a car crash because of it. the fact of the matter is, such horrific things occur literally all the time with alcohol - yet, it impairs you much worse behind the wheel AND it is legal. but no one is pushing for it to become illegal.Yeah, but this thread can't go a page without everyone being reminded that alcohol is worse. The point has been made. We get it. It's becoming a cudgel at this point.
that is definitely annoying. you should talk to them about it.I support legalizing marijuana and people's right to smoke it, but as soon as someone's smoking impacts my life then I gotta speak up. I hate the smell of pot so ****ing much. It's my least favorite odor. My upstairs neighbors just moved in (it's two college dudes) and they smoke so much in their apartment that it comes through the vents and stinks up my whole place. Again, I'm totally for it's legalization, I just don't want to ever have to smell that hideous skunk fart of a smell.
I really think this is a bit of an exaggeration.Except for the ones vehemently sanctioned by society, then it's seen as deviant to have a bad word to say about it. Alcohol is sanctioned by society and weed is growing to the same levels of acceptability slowly, but talking about how it affects you will get you branded a buzzkill by enthusiastic alcohol users, and weed users like we've seen by some reactions in this thread.
If you talk about someone inhaling petrol fumes and running amok 9/10 people will agree it's wholly unacceptable. If you complain about somebody getting hammered or stoned out of their minds and inconveniencing you probably 3/10 people will sympathise.
In society these days liberty > consideration.
that is a good way of putting it.Alcohol (and tobacco) vs cannabis is a massive double standard. That point should be mentioned frequently.
I don't condoning personally attacking others unless they've insulted the other personally, but I respect the vehemence MD123 is about its current (il)legal state. The pro-weed rhetoric is as tiresome. I also find it amusing that people get as vehement about a trivial pastime as they do about whether or not abortion or gay marriage are legal. You'd swear some people needed it to get by.
as I've stated myself, marijuana definitely is not benign, but it is definitely not as dangerous as the way it is supposed to be perceived given its illegality. on that such spectrum, alcohol is more dangerous but it is legal. and every single moment that the double standard is a reality, it can be called out in my opinion. if you're tired of hearing it, that's how tired marijuana users are of having to be able to use their drug of choice in a forced-elusive manner because it is not permitted in society. In this thread it's going into overdrive though, and it's exaggerated. Marijuana is touted as a cure-all while alcohol kills everyone whose lips it touches.
not at allThat Cannabis is safer than both alcohol and commercial tobacco products has become synonymous with "Marijuana is safe, period".
not saying i'm not guilty of this, but I try to make sure i'm not the one initiating the conflict. even if the opposer does not mention alcohol, the fact of the matter is it is legal and atrocities occur with it. if the opposer doesn't want marijuana legalized in fear of the atrocities it can due to society, then they should be just as active about making alcohol illegal, given that it is proven to be more harmful. That doesn't even just go for Decoy. Some of you others disappoint me too. You guys constantly point out alcohol whenever someone points out something negative in this thread even though they didn't mention alchohol at all. For god's sake moviedoors was just talking about himself and not commenting on wanting to ban it. This thread gets way too defensive to the point that some of you guys come off like d**ks.
the alcohol arguments holds weight every single time for reasons i've already stated. The alcohol argument holds no weight when no one is talking about alcohol or legalization at all. What you're doing freaking out whenever someone says anything remote bad about cannabis. That is the equivalent of getting defensive about liking superheroes when someone complains about the color of Batman's cape.
dude, come on. as far as people will go to disagree in this thread, I don't want it closed.Feels like an argument with a girlfriendContrary to what you seem to think about my jackboot wearing, gestapo-enlisted ass I actually hope weed becomes legal for you soon, countrywide
My points were related to the responsibility that goes with liberty, but you don't seem to have the RAM to follow that conversation.
Awww, turn that frown upside down![]()
You're the grown man getting your briefs in a twist about who does or doesn't condone your hobbies, I was always led to believe potheads were pleasant and humorous individuals. Maybe it's time to go on a crusade about the Hollywood movies misleading people about that.
right, and you shouldn't have to go through this. I would be annoyed by it too. definitely bring it up with them or if you live in a house for rent, talk to your landlord.I'm not against smoking weed, eating or any other kind of marijuana activities someone might want to do. I'm against my having to smell it. That's all. If somebody wants to smoke like a chimney I don't care. I only get annoyed when I can smell it in my own home.
Lol good job trying to be vague. You're like a spouse in a fight going "Oh, you know what you did! Don't pretend you don't know! You totally know exactly what you did..."
I haven't behaved like a troll at all here. I raised fairly measured points, and you start shooting your mouth off about how hard people who want to use marijuana recreationally (like yourself, unless you have glaucoma or cancer?) have it.
You might want to grow up a bit man, there are more important things in the world than what kind of drugs you can easily use![]()
For the last time though, since you didn't seem to get it the first 24,965 times i mentioned it; I'm not against weed being legal and I don't think fighting for its legality is a trivial pastime - just the recreational use of it is. But keep doing you, man![]()

I just want this thread to go back to stories of having fun smoking, memes, and political victories in addition some debate.
We can all agree on that, right?
