If he doesn't direct next full X-men film after 20,000 leagues under the sea
i think he should leave franchise because noone would give him any credit.
he devolped story and was hands on producer for first class yet noone wants to give him any credit.on contary they use first class to bash singer.a film he
was heavily involved in.

My dream is he comes back after 20,000 leagues under the sea he directs 2 part shot back to back on phoenix and dark phoenix.Singer as star trek fan would be good choice to do X_men goes to outer space and shiar which he himself has hinted doing.and then leaves for good after finishing the films with this the apocalypse cast have on contract.although if Alexandra Shipp is indeed in new mutants they may have to reneograte with her to do both films.

Avengers;Age of ultron is big reason why I don't want Whedon anywhere near X-Men.the entire party scenirco is way too cheesy.and i don't want poential any shiar or sinister cracking jokes like he had ultron.

I wouldnt ask for Whedon to do Phoenix Saga.
But I don't want Phoenix saga anyway
Let us enjoy Jean a lil before you take her away.

they are going to have to come up with way for kean not to die.

Wolverine solo film takes place after future ending of DOFP and since we all know they are introducing x-23 in that to be the new wolverine In X-force they are bound by it now.

Both the X-men animated series and singer's original outline for X3 did dark phoenix without her dying.

This franchise and the CBM resurgence itself owes a hell of a lot to Singer so I don't want him totally forced out.

The studio would be stupid to force him out entirely. He's a big reason the franchise has been able to attract the talent that it has.

I'm more interested in a sequel (X5, if DoFP is X4) with OT cast set after DoFP future timeline than a 90's movie. Apocalypse didn't leave me wanting more AND I don't want another movie if Kinberg is the screenwriter.

A movie with Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Beast, Wolverine, Rogue and Xavier as the core team, post DoFP, with Kitty, Colossus and Iceman in supporting roles. Add whoever they want to add but don't make them background characters, please.

I think you should remove Wolverine from that and replace him with Gambit. I also want Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler back. Anyway its a great roster, its too bad Fox is focusing on prequels and spin-offs again.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Review: A Fiasco That Dares Taint Oscar Isaac
This terrible franchise now has a new low point.
DEVIN FARACI said:
The previous X-films have established that Bryan Singer doesn’t particularly care for the X-Men as comic book characters; over the course of his films he has misused, underutilized or bizarrely mutilated characters and storylines from the comics. But with X-Men: Apocalypse Singer proves he doesn’t even care for the other X-Men movies, as evidenced by his shockingly cavalier attitude towards the most basic continuity with the last film… which he directed!
At the end of the last movie we left Mystique standing mutant and proud… and yet here she is once again hiding her true form at every opportunity. And at the end of the last film we saw Wolverine being picked up by Stryker, the guy who originally made him feral, took away his memories and gave him adamantium on his bones. Except - and this was major - it was Mystique pretending to be Stryker! The timeline had been changed… until it turns out in Apocalypse that Wolverine is, in fact, captured by Stryker. How does a filmmaker forget a detail like that from his own previous film? It isn’t even like Singer was directing a Jack and the Beanstalk sequel between these movies!

Unfortunately, this is the reason why the franchise as a whole doesn't move forward. Singer has made some great X-Men movies, but he is stuck in his ways and the movies have made little progress due to his own vision for what X-Men movies should be. If they can attract some filmmaker who has bold new direction for the franchise, it will allow the X-Men to become more innovative in this crowded CBM field.

Definitely, as I said I hope he stays on in a producer role at least.

Since the movie was about rebirth it woul be either nice to see Singer renew himselfs, that would be the best to me, i like the way he turned X-Men and the way he makes his movies. But he evolves, no revolution, but it would break continuity if he had change all to all.

Cumming is too old

Remember when people claimed that the budget held Singer back from making truly epic action scenes involving the X-men?

He had a lot more budget this time. And the wire work is still terrible just like in his first two films. Characters float. They don't fly. Just like his first two films. Characters just shove each other onto stuff in place of dynamic choreograpy, just like the first two films.

Psylocke vs Beast was barely any better than Storm vs Toad.

I think it's safe to say that action has never been Singer's strength.

For the first case about Mystique being proud as a mutant, sometimes you have to consider the reaction of people if she sticks to her true appearance/form. Just like muscular men. They are proud of their body but they wouldn't go around shirtless.

For the second case about the last film, Wolverine got back to the present so Mystique didn't get the real 80s Wolverine.

Action especially physical one-on-one showdowns have never been Singer's strength. When they do happen, they are often very stylised and not that dynamic.

However, many of the characters have powers that don't lend themselves to physical brawling (of the type used -- dare I say overused -- in Civil War) because they project energy from a distance (Cyclops, Storm, Havok, Banshee), manipulate or project matter from a distance (Jean, Magneto) or are confined physically (Xavier), or operate at a short range (Psylocke who uses psi-weapons at close range, not exactly hands-on with the opponent).

It only really leaves Wolverine, Quicksilver, Mystique, Angel and Nightcrawler ... and of those, Angel is also largely a 'from a distance' character because of the flying and the wing-blades though we did see him being more physical with his wing talon in the Berlin cage-fight.

Most of the possible physical battles that could happen have happened - Wolverine v Mystique, Wolverine v Deathstryke, Nightcrawler v humans (X2), Wolverine v Sabretooth, Beast v Azazel, Beast v Psylocke, Nightcrawler v Angel. There was a deleted sequence with Nightcrawler v Toad in X2 that I hope we can still get to see.

We need someone like the fight choreographer from Civil War to get some brutal fight scenes in the next film. I'd love Nightcrawler v Toad though that's leaping/teleporting and not hands-on brawling...

The guy I want gone from the franchise is Kinberg. I would like it if Tom DeSanto came back :D .

Beast vs Psylocke is a terrible fight.

They never filmed Toad vs. Nightcrawler in X-Men 2. Just like Danger Room.

Yes I know they never filmed it. It was deleted from the screenplay/storyboards.

That's why I said I want it in the next movie.

Bring back David Hayter while we're at it.
But seriously bring back Goldman and Vaughn for scripting treatments.

It's odd considering the action in DOFP was actually pretty awesome. Apocalypse was a huge step backwards. Some of the worst green-screen/visual effects/wire-fu I've ever seen.
