Let's talk deleted scenes (merged)

Watch on the dvd there will be an hour worth of deleted scenes. :(

Several lines and scenes were in the trailers and not in the film.

Like when Wolvie says "You might not come back, SHE might not come back. Are you prepared for that?"

And there were obviously alternate endings, but they went with the cheesy Magneto chess piece ending.

This footage was even in the trailer. It was one of the only shots of Juggernaut we see in the trailer and TV spots. So, to answer your question, yes it was at the very end when Kittie was running to save the Leech.

Did you stay for the part after the credits where they explain Xavier's ending?

No, the scene was different. Here we see Juggs from the front but in the movie we only saw 1 shot of Juggs coming through the wall from the front.

If it's different, it isn't by much. Looks pretty much the same as when I saw it Thursday night. Perhaps it was because I was just worn out from this week that I wasn't really paying attention to the scene along with the fact that I saw it at midnight, but I thought I saw this scene in there.

I remember Iceman saying, "We're ready to fight, we're X-Men.." in the tv spots and all of that...the dialogue between Iceman and Wolverine in the hallway was supposed to be alot longer apparently..

Just a question: how stupid can you be to put a scene in the trailer/clips and not in the movie?!?!

Not very. They shoot alternate scenes all the time

Also Trusk speech about declaring war on the US soil, wasnt there....

Fox sucks!!!!

And Trask really wasn't much of a villain here. Dare i say it it seemed like he was indifferent to the mutant problem.

I just go back from seeing it and I gotta say I loved it. BUT...it had the thing I was worried about. Lack of character development. Oh when will you learn Fox?

Are they still sticking by that nothing was cut thing?? I mean wasn't Doug Lennox supposed to be returning as the bartender??? Did I miss him??

They claimed only 30 seconds of the movie was cut, but a lot of things we heard about or saw in trailers or tv spots were not in the final product. Most notably = Storm's tidal wave. :down

And Jean undoing Logan's jeans.
Or Logan telling Iceman "You might not come home. SHE (Kitty) might not come home.

And the Iceman/Kitty kiss.
And the Iceman/Rogue kiss. I'm glad that the Iceman/Kitty kiss was cut since it seemed liek they didn't really seem to have much of a thing for eachother and it woudl have been pretty random.

that whole alternative ending to rogue was cut obviously, where she said
"im sorry bobby this is who i am"
and apparently from pics and such they go for a kiss in some form of the scene

and about doug lennox, i do have a picture of wolverine, where he is obviously at that the bar

plus, when i went to see it again, im pretty sure moments were cut out of the danger room scene
when we got that first bootleg footage, there was that line wolverine said 'im down for awhile and the whole world goes to hell'
