I disagree. If anything, Cena is the Captain Marvel to Rock's Superman.

And Orton is more Cena's Batman than Punk is, IMO.

Since Cena is always referred to as SuperCena, calling him Superman and Rock Captain Marvel sounds better, especially since Marvel's abilities and equal strength can be used against Superman's weakness for magic.-

As it stands now, Punk is more Cena's Batman. Punk is pretty much his number two and Cena recognized him as his equal in a promo. I don't know where Orton stands now.

People Comparing Wrestlers to Superhero Character does that mean Kane is bane since he broke Zack Ryder's Back LOL.

I really enjoyed Brock's interview. Just Brock being Brock; I wouldn't wamt to meet him in person though. Guy is a jerk.

It's hard to believe he's someone's father.

He seems like one. I remember he took some of his wrestling persona over to UFC and got booed for it. When asked about it his response was that was how Vince taught him to sell ppvs. I think Brock just nailed that aspect but not sure if he's a jerk. I used to think Randy Orton was an ass, turns out he was for a period of time but he's more grounded now and probably easy to get along with.

Re: Undertaker's WM DVD / Blu-Ray

Kind of funny looking at Undertaker's streak and his threats:

Giant Gonzales - As a little kid, I was thinking to myself "OMG, this guy is freaking huge! How is Undertaker going to beat this guy?!!"

Diesel - This is when The Streak became a big deal as Nash was a former WWF Champion.

Sid - Definitely a threat as he had beaten Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart back to back.

Kane - Was undefeated heading into Boston and had the poetic notion if anybody could beat Undertaker at WM, it'd be his brother.

Triple H - I knew Undertaker was winning, but Helmsley defeating Austin the month prior definitely gave him some credibility. The final encounter in Miami though was the best example of "All Or Nothing" storytelling as Undertaker was the underdog heading into the match.

The Big Show & A-Train - The match turning into a handicapped one raised the stakes and was nail biting to watch.

Randy Orton - If anybody should've ended the Streak, it was this man.

Batista - The last true challenge to the Streak IMO as nobody had been able to defeat Dave for the title. This is my favorite Undertaker WM match with Edge being a close second.

Shawn Michaels - The The greatest battle though as The Dead Man had never defeated HBK heading into Houston plus it was fantastic that The Undertaker was having his mind toyed with by his opponent for a change.

I thought Orton had a good chance at the time. Never believed Batista would. Also Kane stood a good chance in their first encounter. At WM20 it was too obvious Kane was going to lose.

Hi all!

I just wanted to post a link to show you all my idea for a new WWE logo. Have a look and tell me what you think. There are some pics to show what it would be like on the microphones, ring aprons and turnbuckles also.

Good job  Not sure about the color scheme but it's a good design.

I'm a fan of Brock, but the guy is notorious for treating fans like crap. At least he's not fake like some people though, brother.

I rather Brock be honest than fake about it and that's one big reason being heel works for him,As a fan of him it sucks But still I admit I'm a huge fan of his character&ring work and I enjoyed seeing him kick-*** in UFC!!

HBK was a total d**k in the 90's But I grew up loving him&still do,Hogan is of course Hogan But I was&still am a Hulkamaniac!!

TNA star James Storm working main events despite the politics and big names from the past
How does it feel to be in the main event, yet the big names like Hogan still get pushed? "It definitely makes us proud—me, him AJ [Styles], even Kazarian, Christopher Daniels. I don’t want to say we look at them and say 'we told you so.' They bring in these other guys and they put them ahead of us just because they think they’ve got the name recognition and all this, but now I guess they’re learning that the fans don’t want to see them. They want to see guys like us who go out there and give it 110 percent who are not there just to collect a paycheck.

"It’s politics. That’s basically what it all comes down to. It’s good to have guys who still love the sport of wrestling, who are not there just to collect a paycheck, who want to go out and wrestle their next match like it’s their last match. And I think that’s what TNA needs to get to is the guys that are passionate about this, and they’ll start seeing ratings go up.

"To me, wrestling fans are not stupid. The company and the higher-ups can say what they want to say, but at the end of the day, wrestling fans know that they want to see wrestling. They don’t care about all these older guys going out and talking all this. It’s a wrestling show—let the guys go out and do what you hired them to do and that’s perform."

Some NXT notes:

- Darren "Black John Cena" Young and Titus O'Neill going to Smackdown.

- Tyler Reks defeated Curt Hawkins in a "loser gets fired" match. Hawkins is fired from NXT. William Regal decides to fire Reks as well.

A Smackdown spoiler note:

Daniel Bryan came out to cut a promo. He received a great pop to start the show. He delivered a good promo about his Extreme Rules pay-per-view match with Sheamus. There were a lot of "Yes!" chants. A.J. interrupted to talk to Bryan about their problems. Bryan was in proper heel mode and said he wishes she had never been born. He left A.J. in the ring crying.

1. Natalya beat A.J. by DQ. A.J. snapped and attacked Natalya. A.J. was disqualified for ignoring the ref's count while attacking her in the corner. Natalya bled and the paramedics had to clean it up with towels. It looked like hard way blood.

People Comparing Wrestlers to Superhero Character does that mean Kane is bane since he broke Zack Ryder's Back LOL.

Kane is more like Cyborg Superman to me, or maybe even Darkseid. Someone who pushed the hero to his ethical limits.

So where is WWE going with Cena? He loses to Rock at Mania, then he gets punked out by Lesnar two weeks in a row, then he loses Tensi. Johnny Ace has declared Lesnar the new face of WWE, and there is no way Lesnar loses at Extreme Rules. What are they planning here?

I think they're going for a poor man's version of McMahon versus Austin, except that Laryngitis has about 1/10th of McMahon's charisma, and John Cena is about as corporate conformist as you can get.

It's gonna be brilliant!

*Lobo that's your cue*

-- The latest issue of The Wrestler has a feature on CM Punk revealing elements of his past including the origin of his ring name, why he left TNA Wrestling, the meaning of some of his tattoos and even which women wrestlers he has dated. Regarding the women's wrestlers Punk has been romantically linked to, the magazine writes:

"We all know women love the bad boys. Though Punk isn't really a bad boy in the traditional sense given the way he lives his life, he looks the part. Whatever the reason, he has been romantically linked to several Divas and Knockouts, including Daffney, Traci Brooks, Maria Kanellis, Amy "Lita" Dumas, and most recently, Beth Phoenix. What is Punk's type?"

-- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has addressed the meaning behind one of his most famous catchphrases, "Jabroni."

It sounds like the match may take place on SmackDown this week or next week's three-hour RAW.

- Kevin Nash gave props to WWE Champion CM Punk after watching last night's RAW Supershow:

"just got done with Raw.Punk needs to keep the belt at least till next May"

A fan replied that WWE would never have anyone hold the WWE Title for that long. Nash replied:

Abe appeared on last night's RAW Supershow and was scouting the match with WWE Tag Team Champions Epico & Primo vs. Big Show and The Great Khali. Since last week, Washington has wrote on Twitter how his phone is ringing off the hook with talents wanting him to represent them.

"The trainers over at FCW told me that when [Del Rio] came in, he was terrible. He said basically, I'm not making any money here [in developmental], I'm going home. My wife is pregnant and I'm out. I'm going back to Mexico."

"John Laurinaitis told one of the trainers, we're going to be inducting Mil Mascaras into the Hall of Fame and we kind of want someone to induct him. We need to push a Latino guy. Just put him on the road and see how he does."

-- Traci Brooks has confirmed her departure from TNA Wrestling after her profile was removed from the company's official website over weekend.

"Yes it's true my time with TNA has come to an end, what a great time I had," she wrote on Twitter. "I love the TNA family and will miss everyone but will be watching every Thursday!

Following a one and a half year hiatus, Brooks returned to the organization last summer to help Velvet Sky combat ODB and Jacqueline. She was then made Karen Jarrett's executive assistant, a title she held until Jarrett's on-screen firing in December. Brooks began competing following Thanksgiving but became inactive again a few weeks later and wasn't used again.

Speaking to Not In Hall of Fame, Marty Jannetty addresses WWE's decision to only assist former contracted talent who partook in recreational drug use with rehabilitation assistance and not those with degenerative injuries caused by their time wrestling for the organization.

"I think so," he says in response to whether WWE should offer rehabilitation assistance to wrestlers suffering physical pain. "It is really hard for me to say, because I am not the person in charge of something like that. But I think that if someone is working for a company full time, especially with the money that is involved if we are talking straight WWE...I may be getting myself in trouble saying this, but in my opinion; and it is just that one goofy Rock and Rollers opinion; if you pretty much committed your life to working for that company for a period of time than the answer is yes. You are going to get hurt wrestling. Every match is at least a bruise. There are fractures and breaks, and often you work through it."

He continues, "Why does the WWE spend money on those who did stuff recreationally. I'll use Scott Hall as an example. He is a friend, but it is out there, it was on ESPN, so it is no secret. From what I understand, he has been in and out of rehab ten times. That was from the partying and choices made that had nothing to do with what was work related.

"Using myself as an example, I have asked them (WWE) if there is anything that can be done about my ankles. I have to take a lot of pain medication for it; way more than what is an average dose. Really, no more than anyone else who is in full contact sports. We all (wrestlers) have a very high threshold of pain to begin with and we are in good condition. We can handle more than most. Where one person can take a Vicodin and have the pain go away, a highly trained professional athlete has to take four or five times that dosage, and that is where you are getting into a danger zone. If I’m trying to take care of everybody pain, and walking is something we take for granted and I need pain medication just for that and it is work related than the answer should be yes."

Jannetty also discusses his time in the AWA, wrestling for WWE in the late 80s and early 90s, resurfacing in the mid-90s with Leif Cassidy as The New Rockers, future plans and more. The full interview is available here.

Unfortunately, Brock Lesnar is a jerk, but he explained it in his book. He's a country boy who enjoys the simple things in life so he wasn't one for all the fame and fortune and that's why he isn't fan friendly.

I like him because he's a beast who was born with God given talent and he doesn't like to fu** around. Lots of guys are scumbags, but the fact Brock admits it and is perfectly okay with being one makes me admire him even more.

I was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago at a autograph signing and he was cool to me, but I wouldn't bug him anywhere else.

Orton's match is also significant because, as I recall, he was the first opponent to make the streak a real tangible thing that wrestlers would then strive to break.

Agreed. I think Orton was Undertaker's 13th opponent so you had the bad luck cliche as well for The Dead Man since Randy had beaten so many wrestlers.

My friend and I started an arena wide chant of "Sexual Chocolate" whenever Mark Henry entered the ring.
Definitely one of the highlights for me
