If you're referring to my love of The Rock, and his going off to do movies for 7 years and coming back for a single match, and then leaving to do more movies - I agree. I would much rather see The Rock in the ring than going off to make movies. Just like Jericho, I don't begrudge him for finding success outside of wrestling, but I want to see them wrestling, not doing all these other projects.

As far as the rest of your post, I'm not talking about the "who should have won", I'm talking about both Brock and Rock coming back and main eventing. As I've said time and time again, I'm all about putting on what's entertaining, I don't give a flying fib about "good for business", and Rock v. Brock headlining Wrestlemania would definitely be something to tune in for.

I'm all about both, as there are some guys that could main-event, and it would be both entertaining and good for business.

I'm all for Brock right now, because at least it appears he'll be around every month.

I counter it using the fact that the talent pool in FCW is on par to OVW when they had Lesnar, Batista, Orton, Shelton Benjamin, and Cena running around. Just wait until those guys get called up. I'm not worried about the future of WWE at all, because while some of Triple H's talent acquisitions havent been the best so far (Sin Cara, Kharma), it's obvious the guy has an eye for talent.

This is true. I can't wait for the new guys to get called up. Cesaro already debuted on Smackdown and I'm curious to where it goes. The future could be in good hands.

wait...whats wrong with kharma, exactly?

She represented the first time people were actually getting excited about the divas division

The Iron Man match is a good one, there was also a match with Hardy on Impact that was decent and his recent match with storm.

From what I've read part of the reason for storm not winning is that he has a few nagging injuries, that combined with Roode having so much heat has lead to them drawing out the storyline further, plus the finish and Storm's promo meant he didn't lose any momentum.

Exactly, you look at Hogan's politicking with sting vs Savage helping DDP and it just sums up the different way both men did business across their careers.

I think the initial storyline reason for Savage joining the NWO was that Bischoff had him blackballed and it was the only way he could get back into WCW, but that was soon dropped. Savage as a loner fighting for WCW made so much more sense, but Hogan did what he always did to Savage, kept him close to keep himself on top.

The NWO also had way too many jobbers in it as it grew, it started out as a supposed elite faction but then ended up with guys like IRS, Virgil and Ed Leslie in it.

The Wolfpac was WCW's creative simply giving in to the fact the NWO was over despite being the heels and spinning off a cooler Hoganless version to try and emulate DX.

I've been wondering this as well, it's pointless him doing that modified fall-away slam after he's decapitated the guy.

Eric is gone but his kid is still there.

Never understood why people thought the wolfpac was cool, thought they was rather boring. And Sting was the loner fighting for wCw until he joined the Wolfpac and they made Goldberg the loner fighting for wCw, so they didn't need Savage for all that. Another thing wCw did that was confusing was having Piper have his own faction.

Remember the ppv Sting came in and made his decision to join wCw, it was NWO vs. WCW vs. Pipers Team. Why wasn't Piper and his team apart of wCw??? Its like there was faction wars all over the company that made no sense whats so ever. NWO vs. WCW vs. 4 Horsemen vs. Piper's Team vs. NWO Wolfpac vs. Goldberg.

Yes with HHH running WWE in the future, things are looking up.

Kharma is mourning the loss of her child, who died right after he was born. The WWE is giving her all the time she needs to mourn that loss. When she does come back, it could kickstart the divas division.

If not, there's always Layla.

I hear that Christian returned to action this past week. He should be back on TV soon. Rey Mysterio is aiming to return in a few weeks. Layla should also be back soon. I think Justin Gabriel is a few weeks away from returning (if the WWE doesn't release him by the time he comes back, which I don't think they will). I think Wade Barrett will probably be back in late June/Early July.

How much longer though are Ted DiBiase and Sin Cara going to be out?

She miscarried her child back in December. Her RR appearance was I guess a test to see if she was fully ready to come back, but likely not, since she's still taking the time off the WWE is allowing her to mourn.

a big problem is wwe also does'nt create enough new stars for the main event scene for example this is a scary statistic

since 2005 wwe has created 4 main event stars

John Cena
Batista
Edge
CM Punk

and edge is retired and batista quit

I know about Kharma's miscarriage, Omega's post made it sound like Kharma herself was flawed

Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, and kinda sorta but not so much The Miz, and currently Daniel Bryan.

They've tried with people though. Swagger, Ziggler, Miz, even R-Truth, even John Morrison, these guys have all gotten shots in the main event, and none of them clicked on that level. Miz and Ziggler are the only 2 that showed any real main event credibility, and the time is soon coming for Ziggler to get in the mix.

Guys like Christian and Mark Henry have also found their way into the main event, and Christian would likely still be participating in the main event if he was healthy.

I think he only meant that she's hasn't worked out the way everyone was expecting so far, mainly through timing, and not being injury prone like Sin Cara turned out to be. Through no fault of her own, really. Pregnancies happen, we don't know if she was being safe or not, and it was unfortunate that she lost the baby, but when she's ready, I think things will pick back up. It's kinda obvious that any real interest from the writers for the divas division almost evaporated when she left.

Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, and kinda sorta but not so much The Miz, and currently Daniel Bryan.

None of those listed but Orton have managed to stay up in the main event slots enough to say they are legit stars. Hardy is gone through his own demons, and Sheamus is just finally moving back into a run that could maybe cement him. ADR and Miz haven't had much happen in their runs or afterward to make the fans care about them and make them want to see those guys back in the spotlight. Only Bryan has really come out of his title run with any momentum that could propel him back into another.

The point is, WWE has tried to make new stars, but if the guys can't get over with the fanbase, there's no much WWE can do.

How could Miz get over with being overlooked at WM last year when he was defending the wwe title against cena by the rock and then giving a lame title run with jerry lawler making him look weak.

forgot about orton but yeah they have tried but they just have failed more than succeeded

but guys like miz and ADR still feel like mid carders

when i mean main eventers i dont mean guys who have been champ

i mean guys who have stayed in main event scene even when not the champ

also another problem is wwe will push a guy but then give up on them too quick

Obviously he did alright getting over considering that me, and many other people, became a big fan of his during his title run.

Damn.Ambrose out talks 90% of the current WWE roster.

Booker T/RAW/Brazilian Tour, Foley/Smackdown/Mexican Tour, Linda McMahon To Release 2011 Tax Returns

By Ryan Clark on April 22, 2012

– Booker T is being advertised for the RAW tour of Brazil in May following Over the Limit, while Mick Foley is set for the simultaneous Smackdown tour of Mexico.

-Linda McMahon will release her 2011 income tax return. McMahon’s Senate campaign turned down a request to do so from opponent Chris Shays at first, but has changed its mind.

McMahon noted that she filed for an extension this past week but “intends to make it public once the paperwork is complete.”

We'll see how the WWE does in Brazil.

-Ted DiBiase Jr was at Batson Children's Hospital in Mississippi recently shooting a documentary on his career when he met a family with a 10 month old boy who had a rare disease that could lead to seizures and autism. DiBiase met the family and led them in prayer for their son. You can read the story at http://www.tmz.com/2012/04/22/ted-diabiase-jr-wwe-hospital-documentary-video/#.T5R3QtW3GSo.

-On his Twitter, Hulk Hogan commented that going live weekly would, "solve 75% of [TNA's] issues."

Hogan also wrote about some of the changes coming to the company, writing, "Getting my head really wrapped around the fan business requests and how to transition Impact Wrestling beyond the Mania, attitude era,nwo era. Not just grow in a black beard or just switch a title or just verbally say were changing,I'm talking about really changing to foundation to Put Wrestling in a whole new era,I know I came up with the idea,I'm gonna really flush it out before I drop the bomb on you Maniacs.Crazy HH"

I heard from a few people in TNA that were really frustrated by Hulk Hogan's statement yesterday that taking Impact live would solve 75% of the company's issues. They see it as yet another ridiculous statement made by someone who is out of touch with what the company needs to do, yet has a lot of say in the direction of the company. The feeling is that while live shows would be great, the company has much bigger issues to deal with (such as reliance on Hogan himself, the inability to book things properly and the pushing of friends and family over actual talented wrestlers). Given how numbers have dropped since Hulk Hogan replaced Sting and Garett and Eric Bischoff have become a focal point of the show, it's hard to argue with them. And that doesn't take into account the cost involved with going live weekly, which TNA has shown at this time they can't recoup.

-TNA star Christy Hemme wrote on her Twitter that she woke up this AM to, "f***ing druggy burglars in my house, chased them out and my hubby is not here... I'm so freaked!" Hemme wrote that the police came by and took a report.

The 4/19 edition of Impact was down to a 0.96 rating this week. The show had 1,308,000 viewers.

-Steve Austin was interviewed by The UK Sun discussing a number of topics, including the one that seems to haunt Austin in every recent interview, whether we will see him wrestle CM Punk at Wrestlemania 29. On Punk, Austin commented, "Maybe Punk’s not the guy to go against. He needs to pick up his intensity. We’ll have to see what I do, I’m happy now doing what I am. In a perfect world, where I could step back into the ring for one last match I would be willing to have that discussion with management. I do miss the business and working a live crowd, going out there and wrestling your hearts out. I’m still in contact with a few of the guys. I speak to Kevin Nash the most, Nash and I talk about once a week. I also keep in contact with Jericho, Punk and Cena, but not as often. I’m not a big phone or email guy and they are always on the road or doing their thing."

Austin also commented on Wrestlemania 28, saying it was simply an average show until Undertaker vs. HHH. In the case of the Daniel Bryan 18 second match, Austin said, "I felt bad for Daniel Bryan, as his match with Sheamus was so short and I really wanted him to get the chance to shine. He is a great kid and he can work, you just want to see him work and he didn’t get that chance there. I hope they use him better down the line as there aren’t a lot of guys that truly work like he does. Daniel does need some polishing on his promos, but then so do a lot of the guys there."
