Speak for yourself. They gave him rides, merch, DTV, anime, a television show. There were plans for theatrical sequels that simply didn't go through.It’s kind of nuts in hindsight that Disney didn’t capitalize more on Stitch back when the first movie came out, other than crappy DTV movies.
But they were a little classier then when it came to theatrical sequels to their animated movies. Probably didn’t help that Treasure Planet effectively killed 2D animation later that year.
