Can't be true. From what I've seen, it's depending on over-the-top violence to make it a watchable film. If they take that away, there better be a damn good story hidden in there, or I might have to wait for the director's cut DVD to watch this thing.

They can cut away to heads being blown off etc.. and the blood spray can pretty much erased digitally. So if they really want to do it, it's possible.

Exactly. Alot of people have already been exposed to the redband trailer. The anticipation for hard violance is high. There's no way they'll make this pg-13.

Things can change, just because you show one thing months before the release doesn't it can't be changed.

If it's ********, then good. Taking away the gore would only leave the movie with a stupid story, the violence is the only thing it has going for it.

If Lionsgate cuts Punisher War Zone to a PG-13 rating no one would see it. The teens would lose interest quickly, while the long time fans of The Punisher will wait til video, and action fans in general would watch something R rated instead.

The Diehard 4 cast and crew went knowing it was going to be a PG13 movie.Then they add in all the cgi blood and F words later,Plus the unrated verison was not badBut Punisher War Zone cast and crew went in knowing it was going to be rated R.And plus keep this in mind if Marvel wanted to make a PG13 Punisher movie.They would had did it like this,LionGate and Marvel team for cartoon straight to video dvd movie.Then LionGate give Marvel back the rights,then Marvel would had made a PG13 Punisher movie.But Marvel wanted a hard R Punisher movie and they got it so don't worry

You are right they are greedy and that's why they was gladly showing the gory trailerTrust me they didn't cut Rambo,Crank,War or MMT and they could had but they didn't.Avi Arad who produce all the Marvel movies and he also a producing this.Said that this film will be a hard R and they have no plans to a PG13 Punisher more and that the Punisher is a R rated characterSo don't believe the bull

Thats why it likely just a rumor.From the looks of it the movie is way too violent to be edited into a pg-13 movie and theres already been alot unproving rumors about this movie.If the rumors are true then I guess joe drake really is out to destroy the movie.
