After Knives Out, I could see Evans being hilarious as the dentist.
Has he ever sang though?
Has he ever sang though?
Funny thing is his dad is actually a dentist. As for singing, I don't believe he's ever really sung on-camera like he would in a musical but I believe he said he did some as a kid and ScarJo and his other MCU co-stars said he was always singing and dancing between takes. I found a clip of him singing/listening to Journey in The Losers but it's tough to gauge how well he sings from that. There's a short clip of him and his brother singing but they're sort of goofing off so it's not all indicative of his vocal abilities. After Knives Out, I could see Evans being hilarious as the dentist.

Yep, Scarlet is the only part of this that gives me pause. Still holding out hope they could get Janelle Monae for Audrey instead.Egerton will be terrific.
Porter will be a delight.
Evans will be hilarious.
Scarlett cannot sing the role and will ruin this. Jesus Christ.
EDIT: Just want to say that Little Shop is my favorite stage show and my ALL TIME favorite film. It's one of the best musical adaptations ever made. Frank Oz crafted a brilliant film. I'll always be excited about new versions of Little Shop, but I'm nervous about Berlanti. I loved Love, Simon, but does he have the vision to create something so perfectly campy and horrific? Wanting to cast ScarJo shows me he doesn't get it.
Evans as the Dentist is the best piece of casting I've heard for any movie in like forever. After this film, I want them to make a prequel spinoff about his character. I know I'm jumping the gun here but I know he'll be amazing haha.
That scene/gag was written specifically for Bill Murray for the 1986 film. No reason why they would copy and paste the same thing for this film. They should get RDJ to play the guy who really wants to be at the dentist’s office.

Vocally? How? She does not have the range.ScarJo is underrated. She'll deliver.
You can’t learn how to belt. Audrey is a belter. Scarlett is not. Can she carry a tune? Sure. Not all that well.
This isn't a role where you can just fake it. It’s a demanding powerhouse vocal.
Maybe she’ll pull a Rebecca Ferguson and get dubbed by a superior singer.
