Yeah, I don’t really get DeBlois’ logic here. Unless he thinks this is his ticket to live-action filmmaking.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out for most animators turned live-action. Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton, Chris Sanders and Travis Knight all went back to animation.

The original film is literally one of my favorite movies so I hope this works out. I just wish they were doing something a little different with it as opposed to the copy and paste approach they seemed to have taken.
