These remakes of the Disney animated films are so mediocre to me. Not even bad really just whatever. Except Cruella if that counts, which was good instead of middling.

They got Ritchie for poor man's Aladdin? Hmmm....

I doubt it. Woods has gotten a reputation of being an a-hole and very political, not dissimilar to John Voight. It's why he hasn't shown up in much lately (aside from being pretty old). We'll probably get someone who can match the smug personality and hot-headed temper.

I think Guy Ritchie has done good work before, but Aladdin was absolutely awful. So bland and mediocre.

The good news is that I didn't think much of the original animated Hercules, so it is a low bar to clear to be an improvement. I'm still not expecting much though.
