The Monday drop is not abnormal at all.

It made more than Captain America 2's Monday which did 6.2M (which opened with 95M).

...you know...people work on Mondays; more so when it's not summertime. I'm more curious what the film will do this coming weekend.

This.

I know it'll hit 200 million. I predicted it a month ago. My quote that you quoted was my response to Psylockolussus. He made it sound like it's doomed bc it's Sunday to Monday drop is worse than The Wolverines.

i know who you were talking about.he is user i said who is all doom and gloom on X-men related films 24/7 since apocalypse was released.

What? I said it might be really front loaded which is nothing new to X-Men films except for Deadpool. There's no gloom and doom here. 70% is still a big drop though. When does spring break start?

Most of the colleges have spring break starting this week and next week. Just depends on the college. And I have a strong feeling this will take first place again this weekend over KONG

Also...

Doctor Strange which had a similar OW to Logan, made $6.2M on its first Monday.

So the number seems fine to me.

it will probally be number one till beauty & the beast drops.

Logan - $45 million
Kong - $39.5 million

Like I share the same enthusiasm for Deadpool 2 and X-Force with you? So not all X-Men related films just a few like New Mutants, Heaven and Supernova.

Yeah, I don't see Logan having that good of legs.

only here would r rated film like logan hitting 100 million today be turned into negative.

The Monday drop is not abnormal at all.

Nope. Looks like par for the course for this time of year. Last year three movies opened in wide release March 4-6, Zootopia, London Has Fallen and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Zoo dropped 80% on Monday, London 70% and WTF 69%.

I think it's Tuesday number has a shot at potentially doubling its Monday number. But I'll go with a slightly more realistic 10.7 million for today.

This one does feel different in what it might do.

Huge. I'm really getting the feeling this isn't going to drop off like every X-Men film in the past. This series is known for its terrible legs, but Logan has really been holding on so far. This weekend will be telling.

I'm seeing a show with a friend on Saturday, and she wants to see another show that night that I've already seen. I'm seriously hoping she sticks to that plan, because if she does, I'm skipping that and seeing Logan again.

This movie has a sense that I feel like people will be thinking about it and wanting to watch it again.

I know I want to go see it again in the theaters and I don't think I've felt that way about a comic book movie since The Dark Knight. Unfortunately, the movie theaters around where I live have ruined my enjoyment of going to the theaters with poor service, so I may not end up going again.

I think it will be ok this weekend. There's only one big opening, Kong. After that, though, the release schedule really ramps up.

Had my 2nd viewing tonight and still love the movie, maybe even more so than before, so glad it's doing good business.

500 million of dollars worldwide and I'm happy.

I think the box office for Logan will be fine. I just don't believe that it can surpass X-Men Apocalypse worldwide box office, even with all the good reviews.

I loved Logan, but it's not the type of movie that makes you want to watch more than once. X-Men Apocalypse had so much action and visual effects that made me want to watch 3 times on the theater. Logan, I think I'll watch just one more time and that it for me.

It is on target to beat X-MA. I reckon $600M is the floor for this movie.

I know several people, myself included, that would disagree. I've seen it twice, and am itching to see it a third time.
