Jesus does he have to ruin people's enthusim.there has been tracking I have seen that says it may outdo the wolverine,First class, and apocalypse domesticly.and remember this is r rated film too.It will even play In China.
This comment surprised me a bit tbh because you were the only person who voted that Logan would be Rotten in the Rotten Tomatoes thread. I was actually curious if you had seen the movie yet and what your thoughts are if you have. :)

well when poll started i thought critics might not like film.not that i thought it would be bad.the cynical part of me thought they wouldn't like it since it was known mangold's vision for this would be darkest in series.me being cynical on critics if far different than being 24/7 negative on X-Men related films.

when next flagship X-Men film comes out i will also be cynical on them.Of course if kinberg does indeed direct it so will most of fanbase.

I haven't seen Logan yet.hope to this weekend.

For the U.S. I am sensing lower than $55 million for the opening weekend. I just don't think there's a huge hype for this. And upon seeing the film, I don't think it would have great legs.

Oh the hype is real. This is Hugh Jackman's last portrayal of Wolverine, and with a 90+ on RottenTomatoes for 2 weeks, people have heard and bought tickets. You may be underestimating the RottenTomatoes pull

It will open huge for an R rated film. Legs? Sure, I doubt it, with so many other blockbusters this month. I'm sticking with 85-90 mill opening.

Since when I plan to ruin people's enthusiasm. God you're awful. At least I don't hate on films like First Class and Dead pool and call them overrated. Leave me alone. And I wasn't reading trackings. Remember when trackings got it wrong for Deadpool and Apocalypse? Okay.

And you're the one to talk when you voted that the film would earn a rotten rating.

Well it didn't affect Suicide Squad.

Postive tends to be more effective with these types of movies, especially after the 9th-10th in a franchise. People that were on the fence are GOING now. People who were going, are bringing MORE people. I was able to book 2 more showings with family members and friends just because of the reviews.

Suicide Squad was Harley's first appearance and Harley is a freaking phenomenon. There was no way that wasn't making bank no matter what. The second one will do worse if it's not a good film.

It's going to be big. Theres no question about it now.

I hope this does as good as Deadpool. Totally deserves it!

Most likely it won't. It's facing some strong competition after its release. But it still should do well between 400-500 Million

I just realized something.

Considering the previous x-men movies with Hugh Jackman have been pg-13, there's probably going to be lots of clueless parents taking their kids without realizing how violent the movie is.

I hope this movie does well at the box office. It was really great. But I have no idea how much it could make it.

I hope this makes all the money in the world. My theatre was about 80% full, so hopefully a good sign.

LOS ANGELES – MARCH 2, 2017 – Hugh Jackman’s third Wolverine solo movie, “Logan,” is clawing its way to the top of Fandango’s weekend ticket sales and movie buzz indicator Fanticipation with 94 out of 100 points. “Logan” is outpacing all “X-Men” ensemble movies and all previous Wolverine solo outings at the same point in the Fandango sales cycle.

“The promise of a Wolverine story the likes of which we’ve never seen is clearly fueling anticipation for ‘Logan,’” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “Fans are itching to see the tantalizing R-rated action-adventure and Hugh Jackman’s final outing as one of the most popular characters in comic book movie history.”

According to a Fandango survey of more than 1,000 “Logan” moviegoers:

96% are excited to see Hugh Jackman in his last Wolverine movie.
94% are excited to see Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X.
86% are interested in seeing a more violent R-rated “X-Men” movie.
76% are intrigued to see Dafne Keen as “Laura/X-23.”
71% would like to see more R-rated superhero movies.

I am guessing it will make Deadpool numbers - 130M OW DOM.

Could be very wrong, but ah well.

I doubt it. Logan appears to be a very bleak and heavy film, it doesn't have the same fun factor like Deadpool did.

That's not a bad thing of course but the GA won't like it as much.

Ya, it'd probably be around 90M-100M realistically.

Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart are a box office winning combo, and a lot of girls from teens to 40s will want to catch his last film as Wolverine.

I'm counting on the surprise holy s**t factor from 2016 - Deadpool, Brexit, Cubs, Trump, ? Logan :oldrazz:

I feel like 40M in the first weekend in the US is possible.

I sure hope makes so much more cause this movie was awesome.

I do hope Logan makes good money at the B.O because it totally deserves it.
