Good job Richardus.

Is there anyone here who didn't like season 6 besides me? And not just didn't like, down right thought it one of the worst things to happen to TV?

I didn't like the first half with the temple and just dragging out oh no, who's this new guy... but the later half is awesome!

Someone explain how it's great. Someone also try to argue that the characters were written well. And try to prove to me the Jin and Sun death scene was handled well when neither character mention their daughter that is going to be raised by a corrupt business man (Sun's father). Why didn't Sun tell Jin to live for their daughter? Could it be because the writers were brain dead and completely forgot about that plot point?

So Season 6 is terrible because of that one scene?

Also...this is the first time Sun had seen Jin in years. But, I do agree, I wish they had mentioned the baby. But...I can pick a scene in every season I didn't like.

Just let it go, sell your LOST DVD's & move on. Watch something you enjoy.

I swear the haters have hung on to this show harder than the ones who loved it.

I'm curious... exactly what part of "Jin, go!" did you not understand?

She knew what was happening. She knew it was over for her and she begged him to leave her behind and save himself for Ji Yeon, and in the moment, he considered it. He looked at the escape, but decided against it. Because he promised the woman he loved more than anything that he would never leave her again, and he meant it. His daughter would always have people to take care of her, but he could never leave his wife behind, and alone, to suffer a certain death. Just because they didn't speak the words doesn't mean that they completely ignored the fact that their daughter would go the rest of her life without either of them. But it's okay. Not everyone has a good grasp of a little thing called subtext. :o

Besides, do you read Romeo and Juliet and think "Why are those kids killing themselves? They've got their whole lives ahead of them!" It's drama, for **** sake, man!

Not to mention the fact. After the sub sank & we all thought Lepidus was dead. Who really thought that they were getting off the island?

There's that too. ****, making it off the sub was no guarantee that you'd even make it through the week, let alone get off the damn island.

My brain told me Lepidus was dead. But my heart told me he was alive.

My chest hair told me that his chest hair was still alive.

i always saw leaving as not really being a option. He gave the oxygen to jack to save sawyer cause he knew Sun would not make it and didnt want to leave her there to die alone. if he had taken the air then jack and sawyer would not have made it without it. He didnt want them to have to die and he didnt want the women he loved to die alone.

The board that I posted to during Season 6 of LOST had a lot of people who did not enjoy the final season (and a few that thought the time travel in Season 5 was a waste). And by in large, it seemed most hated the way the show ended.

Now, let me say these were intelligent posters and yes, they did "get it." Many just felt the reveal of the sideways was a cheat and just manipulative and basically a waste. While many did agree it was emotionally satisfying, they felt plotwise, they dropped the ball.

Now, that was not my opinion. I had a few arguments and basically came off as a Lost apologist. It's nice to see that there seem to be quite a few here which share my love for the show.

I just finished my Lost re-watch last week and my opinion has not changed. This is tv show is my favorite of all-time. The finale still gets to me. What hit me the hardest this time was
when Hurley asked Ben for help in running the island.
I lost it. :csad:

I also just finished my rewatch. As imperfect as the show was, I still beleive it is the best show that has ever been on TV.

I wish I could forget everything about LOST and rewatch it again fresh. That would be amazing.

Also, I hope they make a new Lost, with Aaron and Ji Yeon going to the island with Hurley, Ben and Walt. Maybe Desmonds kid can go too. I have no idea why they would, but they should.

Listening to 'Moving On' and it's making me all :csad:. Damn you, Giacchino.
