I have seen season 1 at least 6 times, and I never once got that vibe. Until I read the posts about it here I would have never thought about it. No, that was not his story line, and it was not hinted at in any way. I would like to see the reaction you would get if you told Lindelof and Cuse about this theory of yours.

I just watched the first 3 episodes a few days ago. Him being a peddy never ever even came close to entering my brain.

Locke was always fatherly to Walt, not the other.

There is a joke that Bill Burr does that back in the day he loved seeing children, & talking to them. Now he just lifts up his hands, & says "get that thing away from me! I don't want any charges filed"

We live in a sick, fear controled world. Where a dude just being nice to a kid means he wants to diddle him.

If Locke was truly a peddy. He wouldn't have given Michael the props for finding Vincent. He would have lured Walt into the woods where Vincent was. Then....

Why is it unreasonable that a show would have a pedophile character? We knew nothing about Locke in the early episodes. Some people thought he was a pedophile, big deal. Some people thought he was a white supremacist. I don't think it deserves a judgment on someone's character. Good grief.

But there is no indication or evidence whatsoever that he was a pedophile. He was an enigma until walkabout. Why would anyone assume he is a pedophile? I think it says something about someone who would think a man watching after and spending time with a child would be a pedophile. This isn't an attack on the poster as I don't know them. Just making an observation.

Though I never heard that bit of speculation of Locke, I heard lots of others of what Locke's story could possibly be. But remember, that was only a short time because Walkabout was the third episode (I believe) and it pretty much blew away expectations. From that moment on, I was officially hooked!

does anyone have a link to one the final episodes preview where it featured the Willy Wonka song? That was one of the best teasers for an episode I have ever seen.

Still can't believe that was an official promo. That's one of those mash-ups you'd find on youtube and say, "Oh wow, if only they thought of this when the show was airing." Except, you know, they actually did.

Locke was a creepy looking guy who seemed to get on really well with the kid. I totally thought he could be a pedo back in the day.

Gotta love Willy Wonka samples. Sounds like the Pendulum song that sampled it in the trailer, double win.
