Mystery/Thriller LOST - But Not Forgotten...Except by the Emmys - Part 1

I honestly feel very bad for Lindelof. Getting **** on by trolls every day for a show that ended three years ago, which was IMO, great. Then getting **** on even more for Prometheus and for some reason crapped on for ST:ID even though he didn't write it. Poor Lindy

he is an artist who has a twitter account. he can leave the internet.

an artist who wants only positive feedback? what is this? kindergarten? anyone feels sorry for Lucas and the prequels? or bay and Transformers?

I do feel bad for Lucas sometimes :(

Bay can handle it, even if some of his films don't deserve all the criticism they get, the man isn't affected, for him how many people see his movies is more important than criticism.

Yeah I feel bad for Lucas. A friend of mine has a friend in Hollywood (who has a dog who's cousin's wife knows a casting director :o) who's worked with Bay and said he was a total dick, so meh.

edit: sorry for the late reply. Didn't realise that people had responded to my post, lol

Rewatched the first season of Lost a few weeks ago. So easy to get hooked. Haven't been watching S2 as quickly, but still plan on rewatching the whole series again at some point. I still think it's the best TV series made. :D

Just wish I could go back and experience at all for the first time again.

Yeah, the first season and the first episodes did a great job at hooking people. The setting, the mystery about what's going to happen. I haven't felt that same thing over a series again. Yet.

Guy from work was kind enough to give me the complete series on my portable hard drive,so I think I will be doing marathon pretty soon

Lawd....

Michael Emerson's Ben Linus is still one of the best TV villains, in my opinion.

Damn I miss this show so much... It was more than a show, it was an experience.

Got my gf hooked on it. We're almost finished season 6. Still an amazing show second time around.

Lost fact: The first time Desmond saves Charlie it's from him drowning while attempting to save Claire. Charlie ultimately drowns, attempting to save Claire.

The first time Desmond tried to save Charlie was with the lightning rod outside of Claire's tent.

I just finished rewatching the complete series for about the 6th time. I still love this show.

However, I'm not as fond as the 6th season as I thought I was this time around. It was just kind of...abrupt. Like the whispers thing, and all of a sudden Jacob. I still really like the ending though.

I agree with that about season 6. The on island stuff after the temple is raided by the smoke monster just gets kinda boring until the submarine explodes

From the Paleyfest thing a few days ago...

Yep. Emerson is a great actor, but that character was great too. A perfect combination. Easily my favourite character on the show.
i can't believe it's been 10 years.
That is insane. Wow.

The Disney show Phineas and Ferb is going to pay tribute to Lost in an episode where the boys friend a locked hatch in their back yard.

Thanks for that, Sawyer.

But, aww, man, this is the first summer we're not doing a re-watch of LOST (We're actually doing Star Wars with all six movies, the Genndy Clone Wars, and the regular Clone Wars, all in chronological order).

We are definitely planning on doing it next summer, as my daughter may be going off to college that fall.

I've seen a lot of great shows lately, but LOST is still my all time favorite! :woot:

I've done like 3 full re-watches. But I'm pretty sure I'll be doing another one in the next few years if I get close with someone who hasn't seen the show.

Bay is only affected by faulty prompters.
