I've watched around 35 movies for the first time so far this month....so taking a break and watching some old TV series right now.

i'm slacking on my books. ive only read 16 books this year. of those i loved 3, liked 2 more and the rest were just meh.

i'm in the middle of 3 other books right now and hope to finish one more at least before the end of june

ive been knocking them off my goodreads to-read list. whenever i read a synopsis that interests me, i'll add it to my To-Read list. some of these books have had far better summaries than actual quality in the book lol

the one i just finished, A Reaper at the Gates, was one i preordered as soon as it went on sale. I'm a big fan of the author and her writing style, and i've read the first two books in the series twice each. it's kinda considered YA, but the books are so deep and violent that the only thing that's really YA about it is that 3 of the main characters are fairly young. one is 17 and i think the other two are 18-19 when it starts.

Some of the mods are corrupt on here lately. Im sorry but its true. Example - a mod hates melania trump (which is fine) so when i post saying her coat was nice they remove the post! Just bc they hate melania! They will remove posts if you dont have the same opinion as them. Wtf! Freedom of speech pls

And fyi! I did find melanias coat nice. Doesnt mean i would wear it to visit the locked away children. Im just complementing her clothing. No hate pls

If I had seen it I would have deleted it too...for trolling. How anyone could talk about "liking" a coat that was worn as a slap in the face to people experiencing one of the worst things a parent can endure....is trolling pure and simple. And as to Melania.....I don't hate her....I pity her.

Decided to pop in to Toys R Us one last time before they close for good. Didn't realize they were already having their big last 8 days sale.

Kicked myself for not realizing earlier it had started. The store was nearly cleaned out. However everything was atleast 50% off. Electronics were 70% off. They were even selling the shelves themselves.

I wouldn't have minded picking up a Switch for sub $100, or a few PS4 games, but almost everything was gone. They had a lot of COD games left though, lol. I grabbed a few things, paid next to nothing.

On my way out I saw batteries, and was like, "oh yeah, everything is on sale". Wish I had realized that earlier, I would have stocked up, but too many people, and too tired after work to Wade back through everyone. But AA, and AAA battery packs less than $1 was tempting.
