Had burrito ealier in night then tortured myself watching nostalgia critic review for Deadpool sequel. Result? Wierd ass dream of me as Deadpool going back to both my parochial school and high school. Yup... Helped out youngsters and got bloody revenge on bad guys just like the actual film only I felt more entertained by my dream . Ooh... Also Wolverine shows up at the end and we fight giant bugs... I'm not saying the dream didn't have script issues.

See... I know you are lying. Blah Blah Blah

And no booty?

No Krypton. I don't believe you. I know you. And this is just a blatant lie.

I had a dream once that I was wandering across the playground during recess, and I came to a stump. Well in the dream I think it was "supposed" to be a stump but really it was more like just a short pole. On it sat the biggest squirrel ever. Suddenly it seized my neck in a vice-like grip and I staggered all around the playground yelling for help trying futilely to pull it off while everyone ignored me. It was as if I were invisible.

Then I woke up, and my neck was sore. I figure I was just clawing at it in my sleep or something.

I also had a dream once about my flaming gay college theater professor throwing a hissy fit at me while his totally whipped husband made a really half-hearted "welp I tried" attempt to calm him down and got screeched at to shut up. But I was only half-focusing on his tirade because Elijah Wood was behind me rummaging through my backpack. I kept telling him to stop, but he only said "no, I almost found it!". The ring? I dunno.

He almost found the sandwich Samwise did not eat.

Does a high school crush I had playing a supporting role count as "booty"? (Plot twist... This girl had no booty.)

I woke up once from a dream fighting a monster and I was choking him in the dream. As my eyes opened my arms were outstretched as though I were choking someone for real.

Anyone ever have that period where you wake up from a dream and there is that moment where for a few minutes you have to remember that it literally "was all a dream" regardless of how crazy the events in the dream were? Like you wake up and you have to remind yourself that no, you and your family did not keep a dozen tigers in your back yard or that there isn't a secret elevator at the job that leads to a haunted house but in those twilight moments before you are totally rebooted you aren't sure what your real memory consists of and what was just from your dream?

Is this just me?

Same with me, except my dreams are about really mundane stuff, so it's actually more difficult to separate dreams for reality. Like I have to remind myself that, "No, you don't have a mortgage calculator project for Bank of America due Monday. That project doesn't exist."

As you can see, I live the most exciting life in the world.

This is a good segue way to this question... How is the new job going PR?

It pays to be careful what you eat before bed, lol. Though I have strange dreams about shows I'd watched earlier in the day myself. :p

It's good. Kind of a cultural adjustment; within a week I've gone from being one of the youngest guys in the marketing department of a multinational investment company to being one of the oldest guys in an upstart marketing agency. People seem to like me here, and I've been doing good work. I've also been kicking ass in my comedy writing courses at Second City Toronto as well, which has been a valuable distraction on the side.

Awesome Pinky, super happy for you!

Thanks all. It seems everyone's picked up that the past 12 months have been a difficult time for me, but everything seems back on track.

You watch true crime so that doesn't sound healthy.

You'll all have to swear to take no wife, hold no lands, father no children, and wear no crowns and win no glory.
