so guys, while up in the attic, i found a laptop from like 10 years ago. surprisingly it still works! (power cord was with, i charged it) BUT, there is a huge wishbone shaped crack in the screen and it's completely blacked out in parts because of this.

i have to work early tomorrow, but i intend to hook up a thumb drive tomorrow and get as much off of it as i can. it looks like i may have done that way back when before it ended up in the attic in the first place. there are some programs on here i wouldnt mind keeping and bringing over to my current computer, such as Adobe Illustrator 10. Can I do it? I know i don't have the serial number written anywhere, but it's active on this computer and i'd like to keep the program. i always said i'd learn it someday lol

also, looks like i have a bunch of old emails i'd like to check out and sort through. but i tried exporting them and keep getting errors. maybe i'm doing it wrong?

i think this computer is possibly running Vista haha

What I knew was it is considered hilariously horrible, and that two classic memes everyone uses for it. Of course I know Wiseau, but I honestly did not expect this.

As someone who was working at a theater that regularly shows The Room and was also showing Room at the same time when it came out...you're far from the first.

well i know that they're probably as different as two movies can be. but when my brain read it as Room and not "the room", i assumed the sex he was referring to was some of the horrifics that happened to Brie's character in that film. I've not seen it, so i have no idea how much of the abuse/rape they actually show, but that's what i thought he meant.

i know next to nothing about THE ROOM, save for memes and quotes on here etc and that's all i care to know about it

I... I really don't have an excuse other than I kept putting it off. I was just gonna binge the IASIP eps getting down to the wire. No biggie. But... kept putting it off and then I got uber sick the last week and half spitting up a lung like every hour. Again... Not an excuse. I... I whiffed. I thought I could just cram but never got around to it.

I... I will accept whatever punishment Reek and Bri (reasonably) choose to mete out and suffer that disaccomodation for the length of... 3 months? That sound cool?

they told me that your punishment will be that you cannot post any pics or youtube music videos for that three month duration and that flick chick and i must monitor that.

pretty cruel punishment

My punishment is you have to watch the first season of Letterkenny. It's a tremendous show, but you are going to be hit with an almost-dangerous level of Canadiana.

The worst was when Room finally finished its run at the theater, but people kept getting tickets for The Room thinking we still had it. Because at that point, there was no way to realize their mistake until they'd already witnessed the first few minutes of The Room. There was...no protecting them from that.
