I am...actually. I love it. I just wish the movies themselves would be a little more accurate to the source. lol. But sometimes, I can understand that can be a hard thing to do. You can't please everyone.

What did you think of the movie Troy?

It was alright... I like Kingdom of Heaven even more...I think I might watch that movie after I'm done this one. My mind is a little fuzzy on Troy...there's been so many different versions of the war between spartans and trojans...all because of one man's love for a woman...

Hey Duke... Feel better. What over the counter meds do you usually take? I take the Alka Seltzer Cold and Flu usually. Lots of vitamin rich fluids too.

Doesn't get anymore romantic than that.

Speaking of that movie, Amazon has it for $5.00 plus shipping.

The Joes went to ancient Greece in an episode once, right? Wasn't Slaughter mistaken for Hercules?

Yeah, whenever I'm sick as a dog with the flu, I usually grab the Alka Seltzer Cold & Flu, if that don't work, I bring out the heavy artillery & get some shots at the clinic. However, I've got fever, not from a cold or flu this time around, but I believe from overmedication.

LMAO!!! Yes, Slaughter was mistaken for Hercules due to his unmatched strength. What's extremely FUNNY was that the REAL Slaughter was so unlike his comic Joe character, all flabby!! LOL

Yeah. That always made me chuckle as a kid even. Frankly... I was not a fan of including Slaughter to the show roster of Joes. It wasn't just gimicky... It was straight up goofy (well, goofier than the show already was) to me and then they made him a regular character... Sigh...

Man, I'm listening to some old John Williams music which he did for this movie called Midway (WW2 film) & the guy is simply a GENIUS!!!! Listening to the musical score, is just inspiring because of the gallantry of our brave US Airmen in such a crucial battle in the Pacific.

And Chuck Heston just hit it out of the ballpark as an Airforce pilot!!!

Man... I haven't seen SUPERFUZZ in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. :woot:

I remember you had a trivia question about it way back, right? It's a long night so I may take a gander later.

Yes indeed, own it on bluray & dvd, it's just awesome, although I feel bad Heston gets killed upon his return to the carrier crashing into ball of fire.

LOL yep!!! It's a cult classic with Terence Hill & of course the legendary Ernest Borgnine.

It's been so long, I forget if SUPERFUZZ is supposed to be looked at as a parody/satire or as though they are playing it straight.

Especially since he crashes in a jet.........:oldrazz:

Well, I sort of take it as a little of The Greatest American Hero, a sort of comedic superhero.

The Greatest American Hero is also such an underrated show.....I recall a few years ago, Disney was developing the show for the big screen.
