Matt Reeves @mattreevesLA

In my comments from a while back about not being part of the DCEU, I was talking about The Batman being a story specifically about Batman...

...not about the others in the Universe. That it wouldn't be filled with cameos servicing other stories -- that it would be a BATMAN story.

Now I know you aren't Nick Fury, because TheRealNickFury has def seen Planet of the Apes (1968)

"BUT...BUT HE DIDN'T SAY IF BEN WAS PLAYING BATMAN AND STUFF!!!"

Seriously, glad he cleared this up.

I didn't say the blurb I read was damning, but if it expands into something more serious than just Whedon being a womanizer, then it's absolutely going to affect JL

Oh, sorry I mistinterpreted your post.

Glad he cleared it up too, and more importantly, glad to hear it. But, the vague nature of his reported comments, taken together with the Joker standalone news, and the speculation about Affleck during comic-con, I think it's understandable further speculation about Reeves' film being in its own universe arose

The Charlton Heston one? Never seen it. It worth a watch?

you have to watch it in the context it was in the made in the 60s.
because stuff like the sfx and maybe some acting style is dated.

but the story is very good - and i feel it's still pretty socially relevant.
i saw it for the first time a few years ago, and i was blown away by the story.

it's not so much an "action" film like the new films are though.

i feel it's a sci-fi classic, and definitely worth a watch.

watching Stranger Things right now and one kid looks just like Ezra lol
he is perfect to play young Barry.

Okay. Yeah, I don't mind something looking dated as long as it's a quality watch. It's on my list of films I should probably see at some point but haven't yet.

Just rewatched the original Planet of the Apes, what a masterpiece.

A goddamn masterpiece. Also, In 60s-70s sexist fashion, they simply gloss over the woman coming on board as a means to repopulate. She was just there to smash and make babies. Still terrific movie. lol

Wow, who would have known that he just worded it poorly.

... :o

Did someone decide to build a large model of Legion from the Metroid styled Castlevania games?

There isn't much to Gotham by Gaslight anyways. Just hope they don't make unnecessary decisions similar to those made in The Killing Joke adaptation.

They need to secure Greenwood for all future animated Batman's. He's the first voice actor I feel is a true successor to Conroy.

Is that him in Gotham by Gaslight? Unfortunately they don't mention the voice actors in the video.
