I legit don't remember the ending :hehe:

Lars Von Trier's Antichrist.

It was some crap with Dafoe and faceless witches because women are all evil and Lars has problems. It was all just reprehensible which is the word I only use for Von Trier's films. And Kick-Ass.

Isn't that a movie to celebrate.
I'm glad I did not watch it.

so just watched Hollywood version of Ghost In The Shell fot the first time.
it was ok, just another dumbed-down generic si-fi action from Hollywood.

I don't remember the movie well enough, but I once wrote this -
https://cinematiccorner.blogspot.com/2014/04/enemy-review-analysis.html

The ring thing is apparently the only thing that confused both me and the readers in the comment section.

Thanks. I like what you've written there. I checked some other places and no one has an answer about the ring. I like my theory, though. Makes sense to me. :D However, I do think [BLACKOUT]the spider at the end is afraid. [/BLACKOUT]

I don't recall Helen being aggressive towards Adam/Anthony. She seemed very sweet person. Crushed when she found out about his affair (like we see in the beginning a woman literally crushing a spider), so at the end when he decides to go out again she knows what's going to happen and is afraid to be hurt again.

In our dreams, our subconscious mind gives us messages. Points us to what is wrong, what we fear and what needs to be fixed. That dream will repeat itself as long as it takes, until we understand what it means and do what must be done. Obviously, in this case the recurring "dream" is the spider.
At the end of the movie Anthony looked like he'd decided to make things work with his wife. At least that's how I saw it. Didn't take long, though and when he got the key, he was already going back to his unfaithful ways. Giant spider shows up the very next moment.

Any Zack Snyder fans here? :sly:

Been hooked on this song since watching Death Note.

Anyone here has seen Sukiyaki Western Django?? I just finished it and really liked it, despite the fact that it took me all day to watch it (I didn't find a copy that wouldn't freeze or with subtitles until half way through); I definitely need to watch it again to get everything I didn't get this time, still quite enjoyable.

I would also like to recommend "Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia" simply because I loved that movie and because I love repeating that title every time I have the chance :yay:

Watchmen is his best looking movie for me. Just near visual perfection. And although I don't enjoy it as much, Sucker Punch looked great as well.

The visuals of 300 are my favourite, but fantasy battles are my thing.
