I can't go to the cinema alone. I don't know why I just can't.

Is this cause you would feel like a loser if you do? That type of nerd sensibility. :oldrazz:

Eh, big tentpole films is usually with friends for me, but the smaller type/foreign films I go by myself. I can't bother to hype someone into watching a film or even care. That oscar season type films is like a film festival for me. I watched Wind River in a theater with about 8 other ppl in the room and it was a goddamn good film. Top 10 film of the year for sure.

I go out to watch movies by myself all the time. The best thing about it is that the movies are usually super cheap. All I have to do is keep feeding singles into the machine to make sure the movies keep playing. Gotta be careful, because the owner will come knocking on the booth if he doesn't hear a movie playing.

The only odd thing is that one wall of the booth has a big hole in it. Not sure what that's about. Maybe they slip popcorn or candy through there? I'll have to ask.

Was the season 8 script of GoT also leaked like the season 7 script? Friend of me thinks he got spoiled and that bald bastah told me two things. I hope it's not true, cause meh.

I can't go to see movies by myself because my eyesight isn't good enough to find my seat in the dark, and I'm too embarrassed to ask anyone for help.

Justin Kroll @krolljvar

So hearing at the earliest, SUICIDE SQUAD 2 won't go in to production until fall 2018 because of Smith's schedule with ALADDIN and GEMINI

If that film doesn't even go in to production till late 2018, when exactly would this HARLEY-JOKER spin-off happen.

DC isn't like Marvel where actors are locked for like 7 films, does any1 think Jared and Margot would go straight into these roles again

It's just something to think about when people ask the likelihood of that film happening anytime soon

Was it stated somewhere that Joker and Harley were planned to be a part of SS2? I always assumed they wouldn't be in it, and that they'd want to introduce new recruits, because Harley and Joker both are both escapees of Belle Reve, and thus out of Waller's control.

:funny: nothing like that, I just feel for situations like that I need company. I find after I wanna talk about the film right away,

I always go to the movies alone. I have no friends.

i actually prefer to go to the movies alone.

i ain't trying to carry no conversation with no foos.
i'm here to watch and absorb in the movie i paid with my money for.

if i wanna discuss and dissect a movie afterward, that's what shh boards are for.

My friend has those GoT watch parties every week for the season and one was enough for me. Too damn distracting.

I prefer to watch movies alone, but I always go to the movies with someone. When I was in my late teens / early twenties I used to go alone all the time.

if I really want to see a movie I go alone, just so I can focus on the film.

For CBMs, I usually go at least twice. Once with friends, and another time by myself.

It was talked about when the Joker news came out.

"He will reprise in the Suicide Squad sequel and the Harley Quinn spinoff, but this new film will launch the character with a different actor, possibly younger."

I don't see the appeal of SS2 without at least Harley. If anything I'd say they need to make sure they keep hold of Harley and Deadshot, whatever the reasoning, and also add new recruits.

Thanks. I admit I have a hard time seeing a logical reason and purpose for Joker to be in a Suicide Squad sequel given he's not a member of the squad and neither is Harley at this stage; he even felt shoe-horned in the first movie. The only ways it works is if one of the pair -- Harley and Joker -- or both of them have since been put back into custody, or if they're somehow the antagonists. But then, if they play that much of a role, I can't see the value in doing another full movie including them or shoving them into a Suicide Squad story as distractions from developing other characters who don't have spin-offs to tell their stories.

I do. Deadshot and Amanda Waller are great characters played by great actors; the movie doesn't need Harley. New characters like Poison Ivy can grab people's attention. I'm okay with Harley and Joker in almost cameo-like roles, but that's it.

SS2 could be less of "save the world" sorta deal and be more about a tactical, black ops mission. They bring in the Squad to bring Harley/Joker to justice.

But if the SS succeed in their mission, and it would be kind of unsatisfying in a "good" wins over "evil" sort of way if they failed, then that would leave Harley and Joker back in prison, presumably. That sets up a Joker + Harley movie to either be set in prison or to, once again, feature them escaping. That seems like too much of a rehash. Also, why bring in the SS when it's something Batman could handle? It just seems unwise to use Joker and Harley for anything significant in SS2.
