No way am I going to any barber like this one.

SS2 could be less of "save the world" sorta deal and be more about a tactical, black ops mission. They bring in the Squad to bring Harley/Joker to justice.

Looks like they're planning SS2 -> Harley/Joker Mad Love/break up -> GCS

I think they could capture the Joker and force Harley to rejoin the Skwad for a mission, and have both of them break out at the start of their own movie, otherwise ending SS2 with Harley saving Joker is just a repeat of SS.

Skwad chasing Harley/Joker in SS2 would be cool but if it's leading up to Harley/Joker movie then SS2 has nowhere to go story wise?

I feel Harley is a must for SS2 that's why she's in the Skwad in the comics and there's a built-in audience for her already.

Justin Kroll just said SS2 wont' shoot till fall next year due to Smith's schedule with Aladdin, and HQ/JK movie will be even later than that. I thought they could just do HQ/JK first since they've got the directors (very close) and there's a scheduled shoot for March 2018.

Was the season 8 script of GoT also leaked like the season 7 script? Friend of me thinks he got spoiled and that bald bastah told me two things. I hope it's not true, cause meh.

It's unlikely actual scripts were leaked but I doubt these writers come up with anything better than what is in fake leaks

Any "Halo" fans here? I've been thinking about how video game movies tend to fall flat and how a Halo movie has been stuck in development hell for ages. For me, Halo has the potential to be huge, successful film franchise. The thing is, the work has been done for the films already. The stories, characters, dialogue, are all there in the games. They just need to adapt it to the big screen, and it will be truly spectacular.

But the first movie they need to start with is Halo: Reach. This gives the audience their first foray into the Halo world, and leads naturally into Halo: Combat Evolved. It could even include a post-credits scene showing Master Chief in his cryogenic chamber aboard the Pillar of Autumn with the Halo theme playing (although personally I would put it in the actual film's ending itself).

Netflix Death Note overall was just subpar movie, but yeah that scene was just horrendous.
i've seen some people saying it's worse than DB Evolution or The Last Airbender but it wasn't that bad.

I may be late when I say this but after having watched "Arthur: The Legend of the Sword" for the first time, I have a newfound appreciation for "Man of Steel" and even "Batman v Superman".

My god, that film was terrible in almost every way. Heck, the sequence involving Arthur going crazy on all of his uncle's soldiers with his sword in the finale of the film was just poorly shot and looked like a video game. A LOT of the CGI backdrops and sequences made whatever quirks that I had with some of MOS's and BvS's visual effects diminish entirely.

And I completely hated the way that they edited the film where sequences were out of order (even though that I knew it was an intentional artistic choice).

Geez, Guy Ritchie hasn't made a great film (that was great from start to finish) since his first Sherlock Holmes movie.

I didnt like the Sherlock Holmes movie, and I thought Man From Uncle was great from start to finish.

I really enjoyed UNCLE as well but I thought the finale/climax left a lot to be desired, especially in regards to how the final fight was choreographed. It just fell flat, especially when Henry's character outsmarted the main female villain. I don't know if it was the execution or the overall scenario.

You're just trying to be "woke" :oldrazz:

Halo is epic of course. But what you say about all the work being done already also applies to some of the gaming franchises and great books that were made into disappointing films. :csad: Nowadays we have a high level of expectation for superhero films but game based movies continue to fail to hit the mark and even this year we've had translations from books and comics (Dark Tower and Valerian) that have come out to less than great reception. I'd love for Halo and other major games to start getting great films made out of them but Hollywood will have to start taking the source material more seriously and having more respect for it (like they do with superhero films nowadays) for that to happen.

I agree man. :yay: But what I mean by the work being done for them, is that the cutscenes and everything are there, just waiting to be adapted into live action! Also, while Halo has other subplots and lore in the books, the main storyline is in the actual games and these will be the main storyline the audience follows.

But like what you said, for it to happen successfully, Hollywood can't just butcher the source material and treat it like some cash cow. Man, I just wish I could sit down with the exes and explain it to them. :oldrazz:

I've been disappointed so many times with video game films but obviously what we needed was for you to sit in the film company boardroom and lay down the law on what is going to happen. Throw in a few suplexes and piledrivers if the message isn't getting through fast enough, these execs can be ****ing dumb! :woot:

If Halo could be done well, then maybe the likes of Mass Effect and Gears of War could be too.

if they make Halo movie, i bet Master Chief will take his helmet off within the first 15 minutes.

Anyone outsmarting a character played by Goddess Debicki is a dumb plot maneuver

:sly:

Exactly! :woot: But seriously, if they start off with Halo: Reach and do it right, it can start off a very very successful Halo film franchise.

Ha! Not as long as I'm in charge. :woot: I would do Master Chief like how they did Darth Vader. Have a stuntman portray him in physical form, with Steve Downes providing the voice.

Jared Leto is a brilliant actor. Give him better characterization and dialogue, and he will be a formidable Joker.

Leto is a great actor, but I did not like the direction that much.
